First off after getting to the fuel pump cover.....BEFORE you open the fuel pump, CLEAN all the dirt, dust and debris around that entire area. Use a paintbrush and a vaccum, rags. The last thing you want is all that crap to go into your fuel tank. 2min of cleaning vs, wasted money on a new pump, wasted labor hours, clogged fuel system and a major headache.
What you do to it?

He had it in S mode, which sets it to 4 gears automatically, and you have to shift past that. He didnt know enough to use the other 2 (6 speed) gears. He also didn't have it in pwr mode. His exhaust sounds 👍🏾 tho.

I recommend using your oem coolant hose clamps! The clamps HPS provides are small and tend to leak since they’re not as secure as the oem clamps.

@@shanezpz7638 basically over time running full e85 for 6 months straight started to clog up my fuel pump assembly and fuel injectors so I had to get a new fuel pump assembly twice. I paid a shop to clean my injectors and they saw that my lower intake manifold could be ported more so they ported it, and ported some of the upper manifold as well. I had them port my Tundra TB since they were already doing all that. After that I cleaned my fuel tank and installed a fuel pump assembly from the junkyard, and have only been running 91 since.

To be fair what I’ve learned is my car is faster than FBO G35s(HR) and slightly slower than FBO G37s. 350z/370z are a lot lighter so they definitely win if they’re FBO but I’ve beaten quite a few with bolt ons. I also have other homies with VQ/VHRs and I’ll tell you this. All the ones you see running 10-12s 60-130 are more than just ” FBO.” At the end of the day a majority of VQ/VHR guys be lying about their mods anyways😭
