The best and most surrealist part of this whole thing was three 12 year old kids (maybe younger) hopping over some random houses fence, beating up another kid, pulling out knives and guns and all the adults are just.... doing nothing. There's literally two children beating each other to death and destroying things (not even going to mention firing guns inside the house) and their parents don't intervene until Jeff is literally on fire. I think InternetHistorian's portrayal of the adults not caring and still having a normal party is the only way to interpret all of that.
Fuck yeah, I was hoping you would react to this one soon. I remember when the Jeff the Killer pic began to get spread around, I was scared of it. Actively trying to avoid that damn face but, it lost it's horror as the years passed and this reading officially killed it. I never read the story before and didn't know it was just so laughably lame. Now, I can't even think about it without thinking of Mark Zuckerberg as Jeff
Well, many of the popular creepypastas didn't even have much besides the images and whatnot, so people were left to invent their own headcannons. Some were well-written, some were like this here. I remember reading a pretty lengthy Jeff (and Jane) the Killer story that I wouldn't have called lame. One peculiar thing about that weird age of creepypastas is there really was no central plot to any of them, they were more akin to mythos. But as anything else on the internet it reached it's peak at some point and then declined into obscurity. I actually can say I enjoyed that era, not out of nostalgia, but because it introduced its own genre of horror of sorts - internet urban legend. That's what they all were really - spooky characters with an air of mystery to them.
That's the thing about a lot of the older, more popular creepypasta's, a lot of them are just poorly written, the only popular ones I can think of that are well written, is Ben Drowned, NES Godzilla, and The Russian Sleep Experiment.
@@demonslayer5122 The one I really like that relied on an image was smile dog. The story added to it. The story was that if you saw the image then you are cursed and will see it everywhere and in your dreams until you share it. If you were little, you'd be scared shitless and see the thing everywhere in your imagination and then it is shared and sperads even more.
29:52 Whoever wrote the original Jeff the Killer creepypasta just did a bad ripoff of The Joker but were probably convinced they'd created the next great horror character or something.
Why I watch you, cute couple, southern drawl, insight into what you think and wondering where in the south you live, I am guessing one of the more northern southern states Tennessee.
@@rhodesian24 I don't think most people get uncomfortable just with knowing which state you live in. If you start getting closer than that, it's probably another story though 😅. But I do enjoy politebess and courtesy on the internet, it's much too rare.
"Jeff, they tell me it wasn't regular fighting! They said it was GYMKATA!" Edit: Most of the Creepy Pasta I've read/listened to is trope ridden and extremely silly. Granted most of it is written by young people who are just starting to write stories so it's forgivable in that way. But goodness gracious is some of it so powerfully silly.
Russian sleep experiment is probably one of my favorite creepy pasta's. cause it deals with something familiar but kinda mysterious. The idea of going unconscious to rest is kinda of a weird concept when you consider it and playing around with that concept is pretty creepy.
For some reason Jeff the Killer was really popular & sadly this is how the story goes. There have been attempts to rewrite it including what seemed like a rigged contest(someone from I think the Jeff the Killer wiki held a remake contest then made her own entry win which from what I heard is was on par with the original)

great reaction, since this creepypasta is just lame and hilariously bad, i wonder if y'all will watch more sundance rejects, also there's a audio drama series on youtube called The Morgue Files by David Near which is an anthology series and reimagining of classic bad creepypasta its pretty lengthy but it's good imo
28:11 "Oh yes he's gone completely insane but that's probably just the painkillers. They'll wear off soon."
Some medical staff need a different job. I've been in the hospital too many times not to know that.
"They had no proof that it was not them that attacked first." Wouldn't it prove something when they found Liu's wallet in Randy's pocket?
In defense of the bullies switching from guns to knives, it's actually mentioned that they ran out of ammo...Not that that helps much.
21:51 Jeff somehow developed Michael or Jason level strength.

The thing about the story is that thia was the better version of it. As creepypasta stories, the origin if Jeff the killer were some of the worst.

This isn't even the real Jeff story, it's a fanfic.

Ok. The mark being Jeff is just to hilarious.

When it comes to creepypasta tiny Teri, Ticci Tobi, Clockwork, The Russian sleep experiment are a few good ones in my opinion.
Come friends, hide in the comments...
yeah, 12-year-olds are not good writers .
To be fair, I wrote some pretty good stories when I was 12.
I don’t know about whoever wrote Jeff the Killer, but... it was so bizarre...
But come on that poor girl that got bullied on the internet got named jeff the killer.
Yoo

I hate Jeff the killer he is a killer he wants to do to say go to sleep
