I remember that speeding ad playing on TV here in Ireland and there was a bunch more like it that were pretty gruesome. The one that's haunted me since childhood involved a car flipping and pinning the body of a young man against his girlfriend who was sitting on the wall behind him, and it ends on her in a wheelchair sitting at his gravestone. They really don't mess around with that stuff here.
I know the exact one you are chattin about, it fucked me up as a wain, they're all so extreme like. The other one I remember messing me up wile was the one where the young adults are in the car at night blasting music and one of them leans from the back to the front to turn the music up I think and they crash and he goes through the windscreen. I think why was because I thought it was a music ad or something like that. You know its going to be a fucked ad if it was filmed here lol
They had one here in Denmark where you see a toddler in a child seat in the back of a car waking up and starting to call out "daddy?" as the continuous sound of a car horn fades in and the camera slowly pulls out through the broken windshield to show the car slammed against a lamp post/pylon, with a man slumped over lifeless in the driver's seat, head resting on the horn on the steering wheel. That one was rather impactful.
I think I'm just gonna repeating the recommendation for Internet Historian's Gentleman Pirate and Swedish Job til they happen I guess, since it's basically same as main channel levels of content ;P
