BL Mazda 3 (2009 to 2013): How to remove and replace a wing mirror.

This video shows you how to remove and replace the wing mirror on a BL Mazda 3. Other cars will have similar setups.
Tools: flathead screwdriver, 8mm narrow socket (1/4" drive preferred), 90 degree pick (optional).

I have Mazda 3 2012, and folding left miror doesnt work. The right works. How to test it?

I've not worked on a BL with folding mirrors. The two most likely candidates are the mirror or the driver's switchblock. Perhaps uninstall the left mirror, and plug it into the right hand wiring and see if it folds. If it does, then it is the switchblock. If it doesn't, then it is the mirror.

hi Paul, you wouldnt happen to know if a Mazda 2 has the same type of door mirror as the mazda 3?

They have a different shape, but they are mounted using the same ideas.
