Time for some LED bulbs that are bright and white. I know other people want to do this so check this out. If anything it should give you and idea of what it will take to put LED bulbs in your stock Ruckus headlight assembly. ENJOY!
NOTE: I am not an expert but more of an enthusiast who is trying to build experience. Please feel free to ask questions in the comments or resources like 49ccScoot forums on the internet (Great Place!)

I'm real glad you've put the original headlights on it. I love the look of those, and I found your old ones kinda silly to be honest.
LED is fantastic...it’s a lot more pleasurable for night rides with good lighting. I didn’t enjoy night as much as with LED, I was worried people wouldn’t see me pulling off side streets. Not anymore!
You want to cut the gasket that big for airflow IMO. In my vehicles I have put LED's in, I haven't had a problem with water and the extra material you removed will aid in cooling.
Awesome, I actually have a 98 CRV and my wife has a Cube and she didn't like her LED lights, so I put them in my ruckus and they're awesome!! Free mod technically! I said the same thing when I took off..."Waoooowww" haha

NICE! You didn't go wrong for that kinda money, makes me want to give LED a try on my CBX and get rid of the runs-too-hot stock bulb (especially since sitting and idling for 10+ minutes in the heat of the day put a melt spot in my lens a couple weeks ago 😲😂), looks great!

Great composition and thanks for making this video, but the moment you had to cut the waterproof seal on the first headlight, the manufacturer lost my business. And then there was all the extra re-wiring. I notice the video is 4 years old. Hopefully, they've streamlined the product and the installation?

I would go with the LED light bar 35 W gives you a much cleaner and even beam and much lower to the ground those look distracting to oncoming traffic And cars in front of you
I had LED before I went back to the stock setup. Maybe I’ll try that next but I really am into the stock eyes right now.
Small Engine Velocity Yeah I love the stock look but when it came to those bright lights and the fact that the headlights are close to each other and you have crazy drivers Yelling and break checking you I said screw it I’m going with the bar That Connects to the forks and I’m happy with it Can’t complain
I’m about to get the Ruckus next year(I’m a EV rider ⚡️🛵🚲 🏍 currently). My biggest gripe w/Honda is: How come this isn’t stock/standard on the new models of the 2020’s? ⬇️
•LED Headlights > their dull orange lights
•Push Start Button > their turn the key/grab the break/start button
•Digital Speedo/Odo (Like Trail tech vapor) > their analog speedometer/odometer 🤢 (grom is even digital)!
•Straight Handlebars > their bmx styled
•Faster speed straight out the box 65mph > their 35-41mph top speeds 😩
After doing all of these simple mods to the bike, then we’re gonna be like….”let’s GY6 it!” 😆 It would be nice if those things ☝🏾were already standard.
I bought led lights for my ruckus and now the brake light stays on, is this cause they didn’t come with the converter adapters on them?
i found that the LED output is too scattered.. i hope it works out for you :)

On a bit different headlight note, one every bike I have had since their invention, I have had headlight modulars installed. Do you know if they are available for the stock ruckus head lights? If so, how difficult to install? Thanks, Cesar!
Hi have a UK Zoomer which has different stock bulbs to you, we have a weird 35w/35w with just soldered lumps on the bottom as contacts like household lamps, I'm not too unhappy with the stock setup to want to change, but it is quite hard getting the lamps as they not that popular here, maybe they are big in Japan I think out specs are same as Japan, including the fuel injection?...

What size are the bulbs? H1-H6? Guessing H1.... Don’t mind supporting the channel but your link doesn’t work and found the bulbs use don’t know which size

For anyone thinking of doing this, I say don't bother. I tried these lights on both my car and my Ruckus with disappointing results. On my car, I kept getting a dash warnings telling me my lights were burnt out. I tried the can bus antiflicker/dash warning correctors and it still didnt work. On the ruck the rubber boots don't fit on like in this video exposing the electrical to rain. Bad idea. They also flicker when I use my turn signal. These lights get very hot and can melt lenses, connectors etc.....not worth the risk. I found ultra bright white halogens that look almost as good as the LED and they fit like OEM.

Do you know if they are water-proof? I would like to run them on my daily but i am scared that rain would fry them with the cut boot. Also, great video!

OEM headlights are by far the most disappointing thing on the Ruckus. These look awesome. Are you still running them? Any issues?
If u add a light bar on the fork also will the electrical be ok? I get dimming until I rev on stock, is that normal?
If you are now running a led, need to get dc power instead.

Great video. I love the rukus. Is there a kit of some sort to make it possible to have a passenger? If not an adult passenger at least a child. I want to purchace a rukus but I have to be able to give rides to my children. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Purchase the ones I posted a link for they do not require any moving parts a cooling fan they just have aluminum Cooling fins on them they do not get hot I run them in a couple Ruckus I have and the exact same ones in my car and you do not have to cut the rubber boot the LED twist off of the mounting flange you put the mounting flange put the rubber boot back on and twist the LED in so much cleaner of a look
