Babygirls pop in was the cutest. She said hold on I got something to say. Hi! Tooo cute
Hey beautiful Mama!! I too inherited my mom's hair gene and super grateful that she took such great care of it while I was growing up. Even at 51 I still take care of my nearly thigh length natural hair and sulfate free , henna, deep conditioner, air dry in the summer, oil, satin scarf/pillowcase regimen is my jam plus I only wear my low porosity waves straighter in the fall/winter only ( roller set, root blow only). Thanks for the tips and hello little one 🤗. Blessings to you and your family and happy Valentine's Day ❤️❤️❤️
I’m 55 and oils and henna/indigo keep my hair growing long. It’s not thigh high though. I might give that a go. Never going to have short hair because I’m “old”.
@@TracyD2 You're not OLD...but growing more refined and older...but NOT Old...☺ #fiftythroughatsixtyfourandgratefulformyolderandrefinedselfwithalmostwaistlenthhair
Same I also inherited my hair from my mom
I got my long hair genes from both my mom and dad. My hair is currently butt length when straightened! I have been trying to grow it passed that but think it breaks off and stays at that length so I plan to change somethings up because I believe it can be longer. I'm going to start my henna treatments again follow some of the tips you listed above.
@@LionessofYah1 you're going to get fabulous results so best wishes on your longer beautiful lengths 😍
Hey Samantha! We are super thrilled that you love our products. You have such amazing hair and we are glad that your brother is enjoying our oil too! Also, you have the cutest babies ever 😍
The sublime intense scalp stimulator ingredients look amazing
Love how you talked about eating right and genetic. . Consistency is absolutely key great share
Your little one is too cute!! 🥰 thank you for the hair tips!!
In the winter, I wash my hair about 1 to 2 times a month too.
THE Density! I’m blasian but my Asian side is the not so good hair genes side…curls are saving me. Your hair looks amazing!
Korra is too adorable 😊, thank you for the hair tips. ❤️
I fell down the stairs and broke 2 fibula bones and torn ligaments...I also had torn rotator as well. I had washed, DC and put my own hair in braids. It was 3 whole months until I could wash my hair, I was in so much pain! When I finally did my hair, surprisingly it wasn't too dirty and had grown so much! Had alot of shedding tho', but had retained loads of length!🙌🏽 I usually wash it once or twice a month anyways. I agree with these tips, just need to detox my mind about using various hair products as I'm a product junkie...🥴 I also have the kine, Curly Girl Method book, never used it, but seems those who do go by it have growing long hair! I'm 6 inches from hip length, which is my goal! Mahalo Nui Loa for bringing us thus informative video! Aloha to you and ohana! Btw, cutest Lil keiki Eva! She gone have her own channel soon, yeah!💗
I just started locs 3months ago and this just gave me an inspirational boost! I really wanted to chop them off lol but I’m gonna push through, thanks Sam♥️
I'm with you, I don't wash my hair too much and my hair is tailbone length, if I do too much my ends break off and my hair gets dry and I have to cut it. and I only use shampoo, conditioner, and oil. God bless you Samantha!! xoxo
So far I really like Shea Moisture & Maui Moisture products on my daughter's hair. They're hair is super curly. Olive oil, vitamin e & jojoba oil work well too.
Yay! Love her and a new video only 6 minutes old!
The washing for a month is me,😅 and, I often hear that that's nasty my hair does grow a lot by doing that.
At the moment I'm still trying to find the right shampoo and conditioner because nothing agrees with my hair but you are right the fewer products you use are better for you. I do the same too.
You’re child is so sweet and special!!!!
Thanks so much for all of the tips!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽⭐️❤️🙏🏽
The baby cameos 😭 😩 💕
Can we just mention how gorgeous she is with or without the long hair? 😍
Genetics does play a major role. You’re right you have to be consistent and protective styles is the best.
Uh huh. How can that be tested and proven??
So many great tips, thank you so much.
Happy Valentines Day to and your beautiful family.❤🎈🎈🎈❤
I used to wear that same bracelet. Love the solars!
Great tips, beautiful mama...I wish the sulfate/paraben ect free products weren't so expensive...Thats definitely a place where I Iack. Im thankful that right now Im benefiting from pregnancy hormones but youre also so right about consistently doing your routine
genetics are so important, in my family long thick hair is a gene we all have and it’s easier to grow long hair, many factors play a part in growth but genetics especially
Why are genetics important? Your parent and people you can see are not your only genetics.lol. If your family is a family that doesn't know how to care for their hair then you will never know your "full genetic potential". "Genetics" you won't know because that's impossible.
This is so true. Glad you said something about genes.
very true
Of course we enjoyed the video like, we enjoy every other video you post❤️🌷😍
Amei! Vc fala com propriedade no assunto. Ainda não encontrei um vídeo pelo UA-cam tão explicativo como esse. Maravilhoso! Faça mais vídeos com cada dica dessa em cada vídeo. Vou seguir essas dicas...obg.bjus Brasil 🇧🇷
From the first two points love your video and you gorgeous daughter.
Thank for sharing this video today Samantha ❤
Thanks. I sent this to my 14 yr old daughter. She inherited most of my genetics besides a Y chromosome. I'm taking notes as well. I wash my hair about once a month myself. This was informative and well presented... Lil mama 👶🏽 is a good director..
I am thankful do I stay dedicated to growing my hair this long.
thank you for telling us! ill always remember this!
Pantene for curls’ smelled soooo good. I would leave it in. I cannot tell you how many compliments I would get on the scent constantly.
I DO THE EXACT SAME, BUT IS IT HEALTHY? MY MOM SAYS ITS NOT GOOD TO LEAVE CONDITIONER ON HAIR
Good tips vary helpful I agree constancy is key, also minimum product my hair is waist length, once I stop being a product junky Love your hair,Love your content 💯💯💯👍

Thank you for your wonderful tips. How frequent can we wash hair during Pregnancy ?
Found it, thank you, I was looking for this
I thumbs up your video just on your little angel saying hi. xoxo
The typical person has ability to have long what they don't have is the patience and education to care for the hair.
OMG your daughter is so adorable 😍 ❤❤❤❤❤
I thought its a boy?
@@rihannaajie3866 She is a girl.
I totally agree with you about less products. I am a product junkie and I look at videos and then go purchase whatever that person is using. My problem is when I use oil it gets all over my pillow case and I doing something wrong ?
Wear hair bonnet , silk texture it helps the oil not to penetrate
Do you get headaches from all the weight of the hair? It’s lovely by the way!
No I don't. But I do get headaches if I tie my hair in a bun the weight of my hair sometimes causes my bun to fall. If I don't tie it right.
@@lovvesammay do you have a bun tutorial? My hair is getting long and putting it in a bun that’s secure and looks nice is becoming a struggle! 😩
Hiya☺️❤️love from IRELAND 🍀

I love your vids Sam I was just people to know that to run it past they doctors and make sure you can take biotin’s cause not all people can take that and it could effect lab work as well so sure you tell of your taking biotin to your doctor I love you girl and happy Valentine’s Day ♥️🙏
Yes, it can disguise heart attack symptoms and stuff.
Heyy i love u from Algerien ❤😘
Hey thank you for your tips! Does your sculp start to smell after some time (days/weeks) of not washing your head? What are some ways of reducing/getting rid of the smell other than washing it? I'm trying to gradually increase number of non washing days
Dry Shampoo
What a beautiful baby!❤
What do you do to freshen your hair between washing
What is your take on Castor oil or Chebe Powder or Henna Oil?
I have no idea what my mother’s terminal hair length would be because she has had short hair my whole life. My sisters have both been able to grow very healthy waist length hair, so I have hope.
Can I please have a link or name to your favorite head oil you use ?!
I'm black and white and have extremely curly hair. But I cut it again so it's to my scalp super short but it gets itchy and I've been rubbing my head throw this hole video to try to make it grow and typing right now the itch is getting worse. I've been washing my hair everyday to get rid of the itch and it's worked I just leave it alone but if rubbing my head works of stimulation then how am I supposed to get rid of the itchiness? Like before it took over my whole head it was just the top that would it's and it got sensitive so I left it alone beside washing. My mom's been helping me out but it only works of detangling in temporary moisturization of my hair not my scalp. So it softens my hair and relieve me of my dry scalp but it's not hydrating my hair or my scalp. Like need something stronger or thicker and I don't have that think of hair.
How to I get fuller thicker hair from what I can remember my hair was fuller and thicker but I got really depressed gain weight and stop taking care of myself I can say I made it am doing 20x better but how do I get the fullness back? Any help please?
Love your videos and tips ☺️💕 yes I only use Neem and coconut oil together before shampoo and only use shampoo every 2 weeks. I use one product to comb and condition my hair ☺️👍 I use blow dryer to stretch my hair and
Dry it then briads. I have ethnic curly wavy 26 inch hair now and still see this journey takes me. Anyways love your tips lovely daughter 😍
Bersyukur memiliki rambut yang sangatttt cantik alami🙏Terima kasih sang Pencipta 🙏🙏

Question so I dyed my hair spice red boxed dye and I’m over it and it’s doesn’t feel the best so if I dye it back my natural color or black will it help at all how like did dying your hair black how did it make your hair feel vs how it felt and was when it was colored? ( if that makes sense)
Yes!
Can you give ways to grow hair on chemically treated hairs...like if we've got our hair is permanently straightened n all...can you please help?
I have a problem with hair loss for very long time but I always have long hair because I'm mixed with Indian. When I was a teenager my hair was very long and thick. My hair is very thin now☹️
Diet is key..take vitamins daily. Biotin, collagen and vitamin C. Manage stress. I spray Figi water on my hair for its silica content and kalonji oil ( black seed oil) and pine needle oil..thinning hair is usually a sign of a nutritional deficit or hormonal. Definitely do protective hair styles. Best wishes...
Hi sis my Hari is very short and is very carrly Hari I want to minimum long hair please tell me teps 🙏
Babes.. GENES does not grow your hair..If you take good care of your hair, it will grow. No matter your race, genes or type of hair.. hair grows if you take care of it! :) you’re welcome!
True hair growth is inherent to all groups
How fast hair grows, how long it stays in the growth phase, and even how prone hair can be to breakage are all genetically determined. So yes genetics play a big role
@@100huketnot really...
Tysm !! tell ‘em again . Cause i’m sick of folks keep saying that their just lazy asf
@@x.mono.x4011yes it is. Google microscoping images of different races hair. The cuticle or Asian Vs white Vs black hair has an entirely different thickness and shape. Asian cuticle is the thickest, most circular strand, making it the strongest meaning it is easier to grow longer. I believe Asian hair may even grow faster too. This is reflected I the fact that the guineas world record for the world's longest hair is held by a Chinese woman
Of course there are lifestyle and haircare factors we can change to optimise our hair growth for us, but the fact still remains that there's are things out if our control
HI Lovve sammay are u fine I love ur Advice but these oil didn't git in Ethiopia there is no these products
Wow 😲
How do you trim your hair
Omg where you been Sweetheart just want to stop by and say Hello 👋🏾 🙂 ☺️ ☺️
Hey I use dr Bonner soap to wash hair
First
When you easily get oily hair what can you do about that?
Hey..I’ve been watching your videos for about 2 years now. Absolutely love your hair. Most gorgeous hair I’ve ever seen ❤️
I’m currently using cantu Shea butter coconut curling cream. After watching this video it made me question what was in it and I see there’s a lot of ingredients in it. Not sure if it’s even right to use.
Was wondering, what would you recommend and gave you used cantu before?
Your thoughts on this would be really helpful
Thank you in advance 🌺
I have used cantu creams before and found they dried my hair

I believe in less is more and better. What I use is coffee, cloves. I don't shampoo but I do cleanse my hair. I wash my hair 1 time a month. Go more natural with stuff in your kitchen. The stuff is amazing and it WORKS. I use it on my granddaughters hair. And a must is WOODEN COMBS
Hi ,can you please share how you use the coffee and cloves?
@@somethingspecial1415 hi there. I brew a strong pot of coffee put some whole cloves in the coffee let coffee cooled remove cloves and use a a hair rinse in the end after conditioner. I do not rinse the coffee out of hair. Have been doing this for 3/4 years
@@denisedyson3185 thanks for replying-do you think that it has contributed to hair growth?
@@somethingspecial1415 yes very much so. Coffee and cloves stimulate the hair follicles

Hi Sammy, quick question I had my hair in knotless braids for 6wks, but when I took it out my curly 3b hair was soooo dry,and uts never been the same since, any tips on bringing my hair back to its curly state, thanks again 🙂
Hey Sammay you recommended a oil your brother used from a company that began with H I think you said Hassan not sure you talked so fast, but which oil did he use?👀👀😃
Sorry, anytime I have a lot of information to give I start talking fast😑 but it’s Haddasah Sublime Botanical www.hadassahbotanical.com/. They have an oil that contains Henna and that’s the one he used :)

I'm a platinum white blonde, shoulder length, NO plans to go back to brown, will my hair still grow??
I think it would just take some time for your hair to grow, especially if you plan to maintain and continue to color your hair. Coloring your hair does cause damage and breakage, but I'm sure if you use products curated for your hair and other tips you will be fine. I'm not a hair stylist though, so it's just my opinion :)
just make sure to use products that strengthen the hair like olaplex products . Most professionals use olaplex before coloring
I shampoo my hair one time a month
MashaAllah ♥️
❤️❤️
Since the height of the pandemic, I have noticed my hair doesn't take to many products. My hair is constantly dry and feels damaged while my scalp holds product build-up and is annoyingly flaky... Oddly enough my hair still grew long and curly down to my back. Any curly girl product recommendations for hydration?
Same😭😭😭 please tell me if you got any products.
Did you ever end up cutting your hair from that last video you made a couple moths ago ?
Same for me but I took it from my grandma (mother side) and her hair is like a crazy bamboo 😂 ❤ i miss her rip granny 😢
