    1. Curly hair products (safe) that target your goals.
    2. Hair wraps always and hair oils (Hadassah henna oil, jojoba or almond) (silk hat)
    3. Water, food, collagen and biotin.
    4. Consistency.
    5. Protective hairstyles.
    6. Stop using many hair products.
    7. Wash twice a month.

Hey beautiful Mama!! I too inherited my mom's hair gene and super grateful that she took such great care of it while I was growing up. Even at 51 I still take care of my nearly thigh length natural hair and sulfate free , henna, deep conditioner, air dry in the summer, oil, satin scarf/pillowcase regimen is my jam plus I only wear my low porosity waves straighter in the fall/winter only ( roller set, root blow only). Thanks for the tips and hello little one 🤗. Blessings to you and your family and happy Valentine's Day ❤️❤️❤️

I’m 55 and oils and henna/indigo keep my hair growing long. It’s not thigh high though. I might give that a go. Never going to have short hair because I’m “old”.

I got my long hair genes from both my mom and dad. My hair is currently butt length when straightened! I have been trying to grow it passed that but think it breaks off and stays at that length so I plan to change somethings up because I believe it can be longer. I'm going to start my henna treatments again follow some of the tips you listed above.

I fell down the stairs and broke 2 fibula bones and torn ligaments...I also had torn rotator as well. I had washed, DC and put my own hair in braids. It was 3 whole months until I could wash my hair, I was in so much pain! When I finally did my hair, surprisingly it wasn't too dirty and had grown so much! Had alot of shedding tho', but had retained loads of length!🙌🏽 I usually wash it once or twice a month anyways. I agree with these tips, just need to detox my mind about using various hair products as I'm a product junkie...🥴 I also have the kine, Curly Girl Method book, never used it, but seems those who do go by it have growing long hair! I'm 6 inches from hip length, which is my goal! Mahalo Nui Loa for bringing us thus informative video! Aloha to you and ohana! Btw, cutest Lil keiki Eva! She gone have her own channel soon, yeah!💗

genetics are so important, in my family long thick hair is a gene we all have and it’s easier to grow long hair, many factors play a part in growth but genetics especially

    • @ASmith-jn7kf
      @ASmith-jn7kf Рік тому

Why are genetics important? Your parent and people you can see are not your only genetics.lol. If your family is a family that doesn't know how to care for their hair then you will never know your "full genetic potential". "Genetics" you won't know because that's impossible.

I'm black and white and have extremely curly hair. But I cut it again so it's to my scalp super short but it gets itchy and I've been rubbing my head throw this hole video to try to make it grow and typing right now the itch is getting worse. I've been washing my hair everyday to get rid of the itch and it's worked I just leave it alone but if rubbing my head works of stimulation then how am I supposed to get rid of the itchiness? Like before it took over my whole head it was just the top that would it's and it got sensitive so I left it alone beside washing. My mom's been helping me out but it only works of detangling in temporary moisturization of my hair not my scalp. So it softens my hair and relieve me of my dry scalp but it's not hydrating my hair or my scalp. Like need something stronger or thicker and I don't have that think of hair.

@@x.mono.x4011yes it is. Google microscoping images of different races hair. The cuticle or Asian Vs white Vs black hair has an entirely different thickness and shape. Asian cuticle is the thickest, most circular strand, making it the strongest meaning it is easier to grow longer. I believe Asian hair may even grow faster too. This is reflected I the fact that the guineas world record for the world's longest hair is held by a Chinese woman
Of course there are lifestyle and haircare factors we can change to optimise our hair growth for us, but the fact still remains that there's are things out if our control

Sorry, anytime I have a lot of information to give I start talking fast😑 but it’s Haddasah Sublime Botanical www.hadassahbotanical.com/. They have an oil that contains Henna and that’s the one he used :)

I think it would just take some time for your hair to grow, especially if you plan to maintain and continue to color your hair. Coloring your hair does cause damage and breakage, but I'm sure if you use products curated for your hair and other tips you will be fine. I'm not a hair stylist though, so it's just my opinion :)

just make sure to use products that strengthen the hair like olaplex products . Most professionals use olaplex before coloring

Since the height of the pandemic, I have noticed my hair doesn't take to many products. My hair is constantly dry and feels damaged while my scalp holds product build-up and is annoyingly flaky... Oddly enough my hair still grew long and curly down to my back. Any curly girl product recommendations for hydration?
