My kids are looking at me funny as I wipe a tear from my eye...that was beautiful! That is exactly why I said in a previous post...we don’t need more POV - MTB youtubers already do that. None of them can do what you do with a camera, sound, and editing! Keep em coming!
You prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my password. I love any help you can give me
I mean it's no Gee Milner but it's cool, additionally I'm happy you got the V2 Ripmo, it's far more in keeping with what you've ridden for the past 18 months or so on the Pole.
@@mikebeaudet7107 Compared to the Evolink? A little more lively and a more refined suspension platform, in my opinion. More thoughts this coming Sunday!
Beautiful video right from the very first shot. Loved it instantly. The little assembling sounds and Marc's meticulousness were a real pleasure for both the ears and the eyes. I wonder if it should even be rated R!
Been a while since a watched any video where I didn't hit the 2x speed button. Well done! Makes me excited to work on a bike build I've had in the hopper for quite a while!
That’s so well done! The videography and the mechanicking are totally professional. Clearly an expert was on each end of the lens. Thanks and good luck.
This video was great, calming...minus that dang ad that ruined it in the middle...but otherwise I enjoyed hearing nothing but some soft music and shop sounds!
Beautiful, glad to see Ibis bring back their wonderful Cyan blue no matter the change of name, it's still their best colour in my opinion, if they did their HD5 in the same colour then I would upgrade my HD4.
Thanks for doing that video. I never saw someone assemble a mountain bike. It was almost poetic the way you edit it. Merci Loam Ranger. Looking forward to see the 1st ride with it ;)
Love it! Great build and what a great bike. Canadian sensibility right there with the GX cranks. Picking up a V2 in the next few months but going with X2 out back. Interesting that you and BKXC went with coil on this bike. Can't wait to watch your first ride video...coming up next!
Couple of questions: 1. What's the blinking red light on your valve stem for? 2. Would you recommend the Pedaling Innovations pedals for places like Moab?
Ok.. since you announced your new bike sponsor I checked into Ibis and found one of my lbs that carries them. So just out of pure interest I checked one out. I know it not the same level of bike but I sat on a ripmo af and man did it feel good.. still have a little too much snow here in kamloops but I am super jazzed to take it for a ride.. I am a shorter rider and it is the first medium size 29er that i feel really comfortable on. Was totally gonna look at a different brand but this has me re thinking
Another banger video..... best part was the sound effects at the beginning and the end of the video. AWESOMELY HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! Where did you get the top cap?
What kind of angle set did you install on this? Was it a 1 degree or 1.5 degree? Going with the 165 cranks or 170? Sick build man. Review to come? Compare it to the Pole too, I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Just curious if you have any advice for people looking to try Pedalling Innovations Catalyst pedals. I saw that you placed this on your Ripmo v2 build, thinking about doing the same, just wondering about your thoughts on the transition to these pedals. Thanks for the great reviews and vids, Canmore is awesome!
I'm pretty new to your channel. I'm extremely interested in how your HD5 goes with that coil shock. I just got an HD5 myself. I really liked the feel of the DHX2 shock on two bikes I demoed in Moab. Curious as to how the progressive action will feel on the MRP coil shock. I kinda like the more linear feel better than how an air shock feels.
Well I haven’t had a proper ride on the HD5 yet, but on the Ripmo2, the coil is awesome. Very supportive, loads of traction and no harsh bottom-outs as of yet. I’m willing to bet the HD5 will be the same.
@@TheLoamRanger I will be interested in seeing upcoming videos! Maybe next year I can try a coil shock on my bike. As I mentioned, love the feel of coil, especially with my RA. Speaking of, hope your son is doing well.
Haha well, after riding it, I'm not 100% sure it needs it, but I thought it would be fun :D It's a Works Components 1 degree angle set, so that makes it 63.9 degrees for the head angle.
@@TheLoamRanger I'm a sucker for slack headangles too. Have put the Works Components into a few bikes already. Right now, I am running their oval chainring. Beautifully done and costs half of the competition's pric.e
Epic video mate ! I am looking into buying a ripmo frame and doing a build too. I really like the V1 blue and they have just gone on sale ,any major differences between V1 and V2 you have noticed ?
Being that Ibis gives people the option to use angle sets, I figured I'd give it a go! My last bike was around 64 degrees, so I thought making it similar would make for a smoother transition from one bike to another. It's been rad so far in Squamish (more on that on Sunday).
Can't wait to see how that rides. Also interesting, you're the first you tuber that has done a SRAM build for 2020 that I've seen. Seems like Shimano has been tossing around sponsorships left and right to you tubers this year.
Something super calming about this. To the point that I overran my lunch break.
Thanks! (and oops)

Try watching Gee Milner videos... you might get too satisfied
Mon mondz -oh man...you’re right! Crazy cool.0
What a great video. Well done! This is a fantastic watch. Simple and elegant.
Thanks!
That was a fantastic short film. Your production quality is amazing.

I wouldn’t want to try to copy anyone else, so we made it our own. The V2 has been rad in Squamish so far!
How does it ride so far compared to your Evolink?
@@mikebeaudet7107 Compared to the Evolink? A little more lively and a more refined suspension platform, in my opinion. More thoughts this coming Sunday!
@@TheLoamRanger may i ask how much you changed the headangle by that headset?

That’s about the best MTB video I’ve seen on UA-cam.
There are a lot of technical tasks in building a bike. You make it look so easy!
You should get that ride wrapped, thats truly a beauty!
#ridewrap
Just put a sticker over a scratch if you get one, I prefer the ridden look :)
Wow, this is an awesome video, it is so relaxing, I can watch it over and over again. I love the organ at the beginning and at the end .
That grinding disc is just brilliant. Gonna steal that idea. Anyways.. sick build. Glad you gone with the coil.
I was mesmerized and drooling for the entire build edit. 👌
Omg that first shot. So Aesthetic
Thanks man!
Satisfied and jealous all at the same time . Very well done
Cheers Jessie!

That was incredibly well shot and edited. And it's not like your videos are normally not well shot and edited but you know what I mean.
What a beautiful soundtrack the sound of assembly. Ah nice music too... 😂🎶👌
Loved that film and story it told. Really awesome, keep up the good work
This was incredibly pleasant to watch, especially after a long day at work. Thank you.
That's awesome to hear. Thanks for watching!
Eye candy! That color is sweeeeeeet! 😋😍😊
Agreed!
Wow B. To see you and your channel grow with all this help to what it is. Amazing, keep up the awesome content....big ups to the bike mechanic
Best bike build vid I’ve seen! I could rewatch that many a time 🤙
Thanks Ryan!
As a upincomming mekanic My self i took great plesure in this video. Nice guys 🤩
What a bike ! What a build !! Hats off sir
MRP all the way! Love seeing them repped on a build!
So mesmerizing and soothing.
Torque wrench clicking. Tires seating. File on metal. Cogs zinging. This is my ASMR
Great video! Can't wait to share it on our Facebook page. - Ibis dealer from Boston
what a super satisfying video 👌
One of your best Ryan! Thanks for posting!

Before I continue watching: ... Nice intro dude. Beautifull.
Thanks!

I'm excited to see those pedals in action, kinda want some.
I could have listened to this without the video and it would have been almost as good. So sweet!

Me too!
I'm stoked for you dude!
Such a soothing and relaxing video! Great work!
That’s my next bike! (Enduro Elite 2020 my actual ride)
Slightly better technique to fitting the forks than when Sam Pilgrim builds his bikes :D
Nice looking "Bold Baby Blue" - what we used to call this color at the IEK warehouse.
New subscriber to your channel. "You had me at Ibis Ripmo"
Well done, sweet bike!
Very good job
What's the torque for the rear wheel because I didn't saw you use a torque wrench when you put the wheels. Thanks. Love the video.
Beautiful video!
What!? So Sick Dude!!!🤜🏼🤛🏼😎👌🏼
Truly amazing video!👍
Why are these "build" videos so damn satisfying? What is that flashing thing on the wheel valve? TPMS?
Thanks! That's the Quarq Tyrewiz blinking. Pretty cool little devices!

Beautiful build!
Great build vid 🤘👌
SWEEEET looking bike!!

Ha, you, Kendell-Weed and, Mo all put out the same vid in the same hour. Well, sorta...
Sweet ride!
Remy Metallier did his Cube build a few days ago too. Must be spring...
Beautiful machine and build but one thing is missing... The Loam Ranger should have a Loam Lever! Loved the video!
Haha you’re probably right!
Great video! I want all those tools.
Straight Line MTB me too!
Just like me assembling a bike... sans swearing, throwing tools and hurting myself. Not to mention lost tools & missing parts.
Great vid, though!
Matti Re ha yep, same.
Great video.
Thanks Robert!
Wow! This video was mint 🍃
how long did the whole build take
Absolute insanity.
Brilliant video lovely bike all good 🇮🇪
I like everything about more except the color! I don't think anything can beat the 1st ripmo's blue and orange.
This was sooo dope!!
ASMR for me :) What kind of grease are you using for BB and headset?
Cool intro! SWEET ride!

Works angleset or is that an offset reach set?
Works one degree angleset. Beautifully made!

I’ll have to check but I’m quite sure it’s the 46
