    Been a fan of you since your 1st game as a Leaf.Your effort and heart immediately stood out on a bleak lineup. Honestly feel like you will be a coach in the NHL eventually, but you still have a long playing career ahead of you first.

    Thank you for this insightful video. Really loved the part where you talk about how your loved ones made so many sacrifices for you to pursue your dreams and do what you love so you can get to where you are now, and how to want to make good on those sacrifices for them. It really shows how professional athletes are people and have emotions as well, which is a huge thing most fans forget about, and need to learn. Thank you for sharing that aspect with us.
    Looking forward to watching you play and grow more this year with the Devils. Good luck, and congrats on the contract!

    as a leafs fan. this guy is an all around epic when it comes to being a professional and hes an even better person. his overall defensive awareness seemed to be questionable when he was a leaf, however that was some time ago and sometimes the fit just isnt right. he also has a cannon of a shot much like subban. low stinger. miss hearing him speak and i wish him the best in NJ. also can we talk about how he took it upon himself to make a UA-cam channel and have someone film and piece this together? amazing connor miss ya from toronto

    Hi Connor! Nice video! I just wondered is it hard for you to get enough calories since you're on a low-carb diet? I'm interested about these things, because I'm training bodybuilding and even though I'm only 160 lbs, I need over 4000 kcal/day if I want to add even a small amount of weight. My coach told me that if I want my body to work in all sylinders, I need to build up my metabolism as fast as genetically possible so we did it and in a span of 6 months I went from 3000 kcal/day to 4200 kcal/day without me gaining almost any bodyfat. In this clip you told that you gained weight when eating more carbs, what also is true, because carbs are one thing to hold water in your body. But if you gained big amounts of fat, maybe you just ate too much calories total?
    Let's go Devils!

      KariSiltavuo don’t worry about calories, eat whole foods until you feel a little too full. Worrying about calories will lead you down a very dark path

    • @KariSiltavuo
      @KariSiltavuo 4 роки тому

      @@tmlfan7785 Actually it is very good to track your calories and macros. I only have good things to say about that. People can feel full and still eat way too less and also feel hungry even they are eating enough. Athletes bodies work much better when they are eating more calories than they burn. And I mean when you're eating healthy, not junk food.

    • @tmlfan7785
      @tmlfan7785 4 роки тому

      KariSiltavuo no, tracking calories and macros almost always leads to an eating disorder of some kind. It is not natural, if you want to deal with mental health consequences, go right ahead, don’t bitch to me or anyone else when you’ve got a gun to your head and everybody you know thinks your craz

    • @KariSiltavuo
      @KariSiltavuo 4 роки тому

      @@tmlfan7785 "almost always" isn't the truth. I don't know a single person who's got an eating disorder from tracking calories and/or macros. But it can cause it, I don't say that. But I'm quite sure a large portion of people with eating disorder of some kind don't even track calories/macros. Good example people who are obese. But the thing is that people don't have enough knowledge about these things, so many times they eat way too less or way too much. That's why you have professionals to help you. That's what I did and I feel better than ever. So don't worry about me. I'm in a good hands. :)
