REPAIRING A LEG TO A DINING ROOM TABLE

    A friend had the leg of a dining room table come off after his 90 pound German Shepard jumped onto it. He asked me if I could repair it for him, this video shows how I did it.

    How would fix a broken leg of table that is broken at the curve towards the foot of the table not to where it attaches?

      That could be more difficult. What I would do, if possible, is drill holes in each piece to insert a dowl and then clamp some scrap wood to the pieces in order to be able to clamp the pieces together.
      One of the issues when repairing items like this is how to apply the clamp pressure, as most glues wont hold to its potential without being clamped.
