Thanks for the update George.
It's a farce the amount of money been given to LCC from Network Rail to sort it out and that's the best they came up with. Someone from LCC is living a good life off the back of this I bet.
Look forward to the next video mate 👍
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video the amount spent last time and its no different just a few flimsy barriers
Thanks for watching paul
@@g2emedia1977why do Fire Brigade not pump or Gulley Suckers? Build up road under bridge?
Build up road and put height restriction?
Top Videos mate.
Paving stones pushed up, big dips in the ground by drains, all caused by water. Probably worried about erosion/sinkholes under where they can't see. Whole lots needs digging up and re-doing, drains, drainage, the road looks like a patchwork quilt, need a Full Monty job.
Boss mate liverpool council are useless great video really enjoying this channel
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video and the channel
City falling to bits.
Fire Brigade could pump?
Gulley Suckers?
Who is MP?
I’ll be honest it’s causing mayhem… I understand safety reasoning and they have to get it sorted .. but, put a sump pump system in .. any other country in the world it would be fixed safe and open.
It's closed in case it collapses ,they are playing it safe just in case,
They're worried that too much water has weakened the whole thing, probably not enough drainage from the sides of the supporting structure.
They're waiting for it to dry out before they do a proper inspection
It looks like its ready to collapse that road surface i didnt think things were that bad down here madness they should close it until its fit to reopen and put some proper drains in
George, listen mate please don't leave things on the parcel shelf while driving if you had a head-on collision that would become a projectile. In the 80's I had speakers on the shelf I was involved in a crash them speakers did hurt my passengers.
Stay safe out there mate 😉👍
Good point there mate never even thought of that cheers
Remeber that advert years ago about people not buckling up in the back and they had a head on pretty bad that advert
Thanks for watching mate
The biggest road in our city, two people sadly lost their lives and yet still this road keeps on flooding. Liverpool city council and or the utilities companies are an absolute joke. It would take a bit of time to do but that road could easily be repaired once and for all.
Looks like the sensers by the bridge have been knocked up by me arlefella .😁
Lol
Those barriers look temporary and cheap. The fact that they don’t drop automatically is laughable and embarrassing. For the amount of time the road was closed, you would expect a better solution to the problem than this.
Then barriers are really flimsy nad that they dont come down automatically isnt it
I wondered why two red arrows flew over my house, low level and one either side at 1652hrs today. 🤘😎👌 m-E-m
Ive got a vid to post on that really close up footage will prob do it tomorrow
Yeah I heard that noise I wondered wtf is that. Looking forward to the video George. 👍
@magic1968 the first part i failed big time forgot to turn the mic on lol but got some boss footage
Maybe a surveyor needs to check it’s safe
@@kennethcarter5720 looked fine to me but there was a bit of a sink hole looming by that grid
Liverpool Labour controlled council are utterly hopeless. This road was shut for 14 months when the couple died. Nothing has really changed and now once again they close the road. They are not fit to be in office. Simple as🤬
Nothing has changed at all apart from 2 flimsy barriers and 2 matrix signs with only one working lol madness
Funny that ending la haha
Its still closed because the councill couldnt be bothered getting their act together.
Bad isnt it
George, that whole setup is a joke. Barriers that don't come down Automatically?? All you have to do is use the same system that Railways use, it's tried and tested and it works. I wonder how long it is going to be shut for now? a right pain. Someone has had a nice fat Brown envelope passed to him mate 😜😜
My thoughts exactly mate and today there was the sefton park concerts the traffic was bad along the bottom of queens drive
Those barriers look like they are from temu or wish flimsy as fu@k and need a keymaster to operate them
My guess is its going to be shut for a while as it looks like the road is now collapsing
@@g2emedia1977 Yep, that amount of Water ingress over the years is not going to do the surrounding foundations any good, which probably date back to Edwardian or Victorian times. A patch up job is just a waste of Money. Let's see what our wonderful council come up with.
@stephensmith4480 id love to get under it and see what lies there that drain cover they put in looks deep like
@@g2emedia1977 Yes I know what you mean mate. There is a Brilliant Book called Underground Liverpool, well worth a read.
@@g2emedia1977 👍👍
Maybe they're planning to do some work to avoid flooding in the future 🤷
Possibly but i thought last time thats why they closed it
@@g2emedia1977 who knows, they can't even keep on top of weed's!
Possibly, but that would be a vast undertaking. The amount of work it would take to put in a pumping station would inconvenience people massively.
They would need to dig up large parts of the area to install the pipework required to pump floodwater away.
Also, any work in the vicinity of the bridge, could potentially cause damage.
It was shut for 6 months didn't they think of doing that then
@@pleasantville4529 I'm a woman, none of those thing's entered my head . I just thought they were going to fix it 😂🤣😂🤣
Old couple died in the flood car went under water maybe that's why still closed
@@ColinRiverol that was over a year ago
Is the railway still in use, or has the bridge suffered some damage from the flood water?
Also, is the rail line for passenger trains, or is it a goods line?
@@pleasantville4529 railway still in use its a passenger line goes to west allerton and that
@@g2emedia1977 Thanks for the information.
That road bridge has been getting flooded to my knowledge for decades!!
Nothing new to report on here budd 💤💤💤💤💤💤💤
Did they have barriers then...no....did they shut it for months and apparently fix the issue...no so reporting on this...yes
Still closed as of Tue 13th Aug 20204
Mad isnt it
You Labour voters hope your happy
Why?
@@g2emedia1977 more illegals who are no benefit to us at all. just a drain on our health services. now housing. besides costing us 10million a day in free everything.
You’re.
This council AND many others have had money from central government cut to the bone after decades of tory mismanagement so they OBVIOUSLY have to prioritise repairs !
