I really like his pronunciation in both English and Mandarin. He speaks clearly and for the listeners it is easier to distinguish the tones in Chinese!
I just learned that the word “慢走” is “take care”. I used to know that walking slowly. For example, when I arrived to shop buy something, uncle would call me “慢走”. Then he would tell me to be careful. İ learned now. I'm international student. 谢谢您
I have to say, the teaching method you both use is brilliant. As a person who has studied Mandarin for 10 years, lived in China, and majored in Chinese in college, I can say that I continually learn new things in each video you produce, even when I learn about grammar patterns or words i already know, I learn new ways to use them. You guys are phenomenal Chinese teachers! There’s just something that clicks and sticks in my mind with the way you both teach!
I was always confused in stores when the salespeople said 慢走 after helping me. “Why would I walk slowly?” Eventually I realized this was just a polite expression.
Thanks for sharing. Examples from TV series like 3:24 are great, keep it up. As a suggestion for next videos: in ZTH courses there are "warm up" videos which I find super helpful, would love to see more like that. The weirder the better.
thank you for this video! i learned a ton, i absolutely love when language teachers use a mixture of the target language and my native language qhile teaching. it really does help a lot in immersion. kudos on a really well made video.
Thanks a lot for another helpful lesson. I'm working through Your course right now. It's not only a ton of content, it also teaches how to think differently. You make every video an intellectual challenge. That concept was new to me. Keep it up!!!
I really appriciate that you used an example from TV series, it helped me understand more easily how and when that phrase will be applied. Great video and very clear explanation, keep it up
smile and nod will be sufficient. if your friends are extremely polite he/she wants to walk you to the door. you can speak"不用送不用送" but it's a tricky one , if the host has no intention to walk you to the door, the situation might be embarrassed. not many do the walk you to the door thing anymore in this generation. "不用送不用送" is often speak in a funny way as a joke between really good friend to intentionally embarrass your friend.
Hi, the problem with the comparison with "Bon appétit", is that we say it before the meal has started, but 慢慢吃 is most always used when people are leaving table before you. So, it's not similar... Thanks for the rest though

我是一名中文老师,我建议你用多一点汉语,英语少一点;你可能以为必须解释解释确实人比较了解很多例子,解释很多让人迷迷糊糊的。先介绍两三个然后用很多例子,最后解释。只是我的经验上对小建议。我想用更多的好视频给我学生看...
老师, 我想购买您的HSK 5级课程, 该怎么做?谢谢您!
