@Trackratz-zl9di We've been fighting unpredictable weather in the area all summer/early fall. I'm sure they were just trying to get it in before snow started flying. I mean, they could have just canceled it.
Alex Yankowski won $30,000+ after winning the Freedom 76 at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville,Pa. 78 cars entered the Granddaddy Of All Small Block Races.
Always support this with donation to have a name added to the front wing. Blaneys are a great family that supports brain injuries and the racing community. So happy had a great way to retire. Thank you Dave for all the memories 🏁❤👍
It was a great night at Sharon. A lot of driver's showed respect towards Dave. It is a well run facility close to where I live. I hope it stays that way!!!
I live about 20 minutes from the track and have been going off and on since the early 80's. Things were rough there for a while. Even after the new ownership, it was my understanding that they were operating in the red at least some of the time. I would be devastated if anything happened to that place.
I might live in Steve Kinser neck of the woods but was always a Dave Blaney fan. I remember when Gary B got hurt & they put Dave in the Terre Haute first national bank car. Great night. Congrats Dave
didn't know blaney still raced, but knew they were affilliated with the track, well its a capstone to a long sucessful run, as for me went to the 4 crowns it was very warm day, pursly came very close, met most of the drivers, saw tmez didn't get too much chance to talk though but he did remember I did historical railroading even though its been a year really since we talked and mentioned how brutal the f1 stock car racing is in england 3200 lbs and they hit hard, did meet old timer jimmy light though used to hear his name watching old broadcasts and notes though history though, was nice to finaly meet him though, the track was brual dry and I think raking it though they tried to fix it just made it worse the winged sprints just sandblasted the front rows , and so did the silver crown cars, and the track kept shreding tires I think at least 3-4 had to come in to replace a tire on the silver crown race and there were a few bang ups. and just were too many stops non of them could really get momentum
For as slick Eldora was would have been nice to hear about Briggs Danner coming from 12 to 3rd and pushing for second. Anymore laps and he would have running for the win. The kid is good.
That's why you learn how to drive on different. That is why he will never top bloomquist as the goat because his complaining of tracks plus he never done anything with building cars doesn't have the knowledge. That is why I like pierce more with his understanding cars because of his father's knowledge of building cars.
There is so much more talent in the world of outlaws, these results in high limit really in the grand scheme of things dont mean much, sure theyre making money, this series is a flash in the pan, then the drivers will re join the outlaw circuit again but by then, they will find it harder than you would expect to win again as they have only been racing with the high limit guys, i mean, if peck is winning, or sanders is up there pissn ppl off im like yeah buddy, now run with the outlaws
I've always thought Dave Blaney was a class act, whether he was racing sprint cars or NASCAR. On the Davenport comment, you think maybe his wife had any persuasion for him tweeting ' I actually like my in-laws...' ? 🤔 LOL
JD isn't wrong, Knoxville is the worst track on the LO schedule. Produces piss poor racing on top of being extremely hard on equipment. Just not a great venue for both fans and teams. I have said it many times "my feelings wouldn't be hurt if Knoxville was taken off the schedule".
JD isnt wrong its just not a great surface sprint cars are boring to watch at knoxville and latemodels are a absolute snooze fest the place is legendary and always will be even though the racing is lack luster
I credit Dave Blaney with changing the "image" of sprint car racing back in the late 80's. His clean cut, accountant appearance was so contradictory to the norm of the day. Professionalism in the sport has come a long way.
How about a comment about track conditions at the Four Crown at Eldora? If it refreshing to hear Davenport discuss Knoxville, how about Eldora? That Silver Crown feature was…..interesting…..
Talking about Eldora's track prep issues seems pointless. They don't seem to admit they have a problem, and they have to group of rabid employees and fans who will make excuses and ridicule anyone who makes any comments about it. @dirtrackr is wise to avoid the subject.
@@Trackratz-zl9di Davenport needs to set his Taxi Cab up better, With the weather Knoxville was having during this deal 90% of the tracks would not even raced. NOBODY has a better track crew then Knoxville. Most of the other Major Dirt Tracks sent their people to Knoxville to learn how to do it. Iowa has the biggest Sprint Car Race in the World=Boone Super Nationals biggest Modified Race , NASCAR and Indy car Track. Over 100 Dirt Tracks racing every weekend. Iowa even feeds the World.
I was at Sharon Speedway the night of Blaney's first sprint car win (too young to remember that night, though). Was sitting in turn 3 at Sharon for his last WoO win. Sad to see him go. Thanks for the memories, Dave (and Lou).
The Dave Blaney news was pretty awsome. I was at Eldora for thecweekend. Friday night was really good but Saturday night was really bad. Worse Ive seen at the 4 Crown for many years.
I talked to BLANEY every time he came to MANZANITA. A great race driver very kind and friendly to the fans. Wishing the best to him and his son at NASCAR.
Other 410 winners over the weekend include Joe B Miller in the Jim Hall Memorial at Benton Speedway and Gage Montgomery at Farmington Empire Speedway on Saturday.
What a way for Dave to call it a career. Feel for Huddy, but I couldn’t care less for the Burns team being out of championship contention. After their little stunt earlier this year they don’t deserve to have their team in that position, in my opinion. You don’t just do that to your now previous driver mid season.
I was fortunate to spend a fair amount of time around Dave Blaney and Kenny Woodruff when they were together way back. Neither one of them had much to say so they were a perfect match. Dave's one of the really good guys to ever be around this sport and the dude was a gasser. What a way to go out. Well Done.
I really liked Dave Blaney. He’s the right kind of role model for young people in racing. Class act. Great show!
How about don't run the Lou Blaney when the 4 Crown Nationals are running up the road .
Maybe someone would watch and care .
@Trackratz-zl9di We've been fighting unpredictable weather in the area all summer/early fall. I'm sure they were just trying to get it in before snow started flying. I mean, they could have just canceled it.
Thanks Dave , Dale & Lou for years of great memories in racing !

Congratulations on a phenomenal career.
What a great way to call it a career. Congrats Dave!
Congratulations Buckeye Bandit one hell of a career Dave thank you
Dave Blaney, a class act.
Biggest 4 crown surprise was Seavey not winning and Pursley winning two
I always wanted for Dave to have better success in Nascar. Wish he would have gotten more wins and better results
If you haven't seen them, look for his interviews regarding his transition from Sprints to NASCAR. Interesting stuff.
Blaney was a beast back in the day. So cool to see him finish his career with a big win.
Always support this with donation to have a name added to the front wing. Blaneys are a great family that supports brain injuries and the racing community. So happy had a great way to retire. Thank you Dave for all the memories 🏁❤👍
Congrats Dave! What a way to go out! Remember the yellow and blue Vivarin car. I think it was sponsored by Luna Ford too
One of those cars is preserved at the Eastern Motorsports museum in Pennsylvania. Cool place to visit.

Thanks for including updates of more than just HL and WoO sprint series!
Blaney and Moyer both get a win this weekend? I raise a glass to those old-schoolers!
I told you Peck was coming!!! No better stage!!! Thank you Justin!! Appreciate you as always!!
Thanks for the memories Buckeye Bullet!!
I might live in Steve Kinser neck of the woods but was always a Dave Blaney fan. I remember when Gary B got hurt & they put Dave in the Terre Haute first national bank car. Great night. Congrats Dave
Cool for Blaney!!
Midget race at 4 Crown was a embarrassment with only 21 cars taking the green. I remember back in the 80's with over 24 cars in the consy.
Good stuff winning family race
Yes im bbbb back, hot diggity dang, i only come here for the lets go
Let’s go! 🏁
I think it would be cool to see AJ Flick Wheel the Blaney 10 for the Outlaw show on September 28th
Danny Dietrich will stay close and can’t blame him. He will be up there most of time.
Just said I’m done!! Guarantee that was hard!!! Good shit!!

How about 19 year old Alex Yankowski winning Grandview's Freedom 76'er for $32k? Come on Justin, where's the love!
Thought gravel would have more than 3 wins in woo
Jd said it for everyone else in example.

Where is Peck going?

At least he wa.s honest about Knozville
Carson Macedo is not going to catch David. It’s nice to hope for, but not going to happen.
Only because Sweet went away....🤣 enjoy the asterisk *

Anyone who follows LM knows this comment is 100% right. Not sure what other track is worse for LM maybe Portsmouth?
👍
Davenport is expressing himself as an entitled NASCAR driver

I agree, the track is long overdue for a reconfiguration.
Thanks for everything Buckeye Bullet!

Davenport is telling them how they should prep the track but the Iowa nose pickers aren't listening .
Shame it could have been good .

Congratulations on 35000 subscribers
the buckeye bullet has always been one of my favorites since the first time I seen him race at portroyal

Wearing the High Limit hat after the WRG bias comments 😂 love it, keep doing you
Still didn't bitch about davenports comments with some goofy numbers. 🤣

Making Ohio proud.
Oneal will be fine. Hope he gets a healthy buck in off season!!! Let HUD Settle in. He gonna be good!!!
