The Ford Custom isn't Type Approved for the US crash tests. But a 2 tonne Transit V363 low roof made in Kansas City Assembly Plant, could be made into a similar camper and would also be available in 4x4.
A black roof is not exactly the most sensible thing to have on a motor caravan, especially during the extreme hot weather we’ve just had, stylist and designers are seemingly increasingly detached from the real world!

Lovely looking vehicle with useful updates. I live in the uk and ordered a nugget back in September last year and still no news of when it will be delivered but as it is yet to be converted by Westfalia I hope it will have the updates that are mentioned in the video. Hi Martijn. It looks as though the shower attachment has also been moved to in front of the sink? It also has a controller now for hot and cold mixer - am I right?
Hi Chris. If you opt for the boiler on the Nugget Plus you will get the shower attachment like this. On the short wheel base Nugget the boiler is not attached to the outside shower. So it is not a new thing for this year.

@@Camperseu Thanks Martijn, to be clear you're saying the boiler for the shower is only an option on the long wheelbase? And by 'option' you mean it's not standard and must be specified when ordered? I understood ALL Nuggets had a boiler anyway? Thanks
@@chrisyates399 Yes, by option I mean it is not standard but can be ordered as an extra from the factory. It can be ordered on the normal Nugget and the Plus. It is connected to the sink in the kitchen. And only with the Plus it is connected to the outside shower (and the extra sink as well).
@@Camperseu That makes sense, but means I can't have a hot shower on the SWB version, right? If so I must focus my search on the PLUS version only as I do wish for hot showers!
@@chrisyates399 Yes that is correct.
You still have the ugly toilet on view. It should have a magnetic cover that can flip up to hide it. Many people are buying them (at a ridiculously high price) as an after product and it should be standard. I don't like the dark roof either, it looks good but makes the interior much darker.
Trail-Version ist ja wegen Sperrdifferential nur mit Schaltgetriebe. Gibt es als Option einen Tempomat?
Tempomat ist beim Ford Nugget Standard. Der adaptive Tempomat ist optional.

Yes it does flush. There is a small fold away sink next to the fridge. And of course the outside shower.

Far too much focus on the light switches and not the actual layout of the van.
