With the t-rex's arms, there's a couple of theories. The thing to remember however it despite the fact they're small relative to the animal, they're still extremely large and very muscular. So the most common theories is that they're 1. used to aid in mating for some extra grip 2. they're used to grapple onto prey items to immobilise them while the teeth do the killing

The Tyrannosaurus' arms were speculated to be used to assist in mating, its supported by the fact specimens of the same lineage have very similar arm structures despite being 350 million years older, meaning if they really had no use, they would have been evolved off of the T rex by the time of the Cretaceous period.

Anyways keep up the wonderfull work you bring to us every week and have a nice weekend.

    T. rex had arms for the same reason we have “tails”. T.rex’s ancestors would have used their arms and it’s likely that young tyrannosaurs would have gotten more use out of them than fully grown ones.

the skeleton of emu's wings look simular to t-rex arms. Thus the t-rex could actually have had tiny wings.

I absolutely adore the sculpt! I think I'd have preferred the paint job to be a lot more muted. When things die, their blood gets much darker and less muted because there's no more oxygen exchange going on. So, the flesh becomes pale pink/white and the blood gets super dark. It's freaking awesome though!

I am an archaeology student! The T-Rex small arms are mainly vestigial, meaning they have no purpose but are still present in the body(like the human appendix). Another hypothesis that they are there to hold down large prey when eating. Another is for males to hold onto females during mating.

There are a lot of landscapes to choose from and some gross/fun stuff to sculpt like the headless god of the woods or just the severed head in the kettle (ohh, what's in the box?!). Or the demon boar that looks like it's made out of worms. That would be so great! BTW the moderation of your videos is just as entertaining as the working process is satisfying to watch.
