@@balrojmusicAmazing tutorial mate!!! Well explained! Finally, somebody did it now 😄Hope you will come up with some more stuff in the future 🙏 Maybe it would be cool to have a die hard tutorial on how you use your novation launchpad with bitwig as well 😅❤🔥🤓
Awesome suggestion! The next tutorial will be about making arps, sequences and melodies with the launchpad pro and Bitwig's note modulators, a must watch 😉
You can also use a compressor's sidechain input. That's the most straightforward approach. It also gives you many options for ratio, threshold, attack and release times, etc. A nice trick is to add a "ghost track" for the bass drum used by the sidechain. That way, your bass can still maintain its ducking groove when the bass drum is mute during a breakdown section.
That's the traditional way of sidechaining and I used it for a long time, although I prefer MSEG modulators for their ease of use, flexibility and because I'm not limited to adding a compressor to each track or group 🙂
@@balrojmusic Technically the volume slider is just the clearest of compressors. So I also shy away from compressors unless that is the sound I prefer. I usually go with just volume.
Looking forward to seeing this!!!
You inspired this video, thanks to your request in my last session 🙂

Amazing man, thanks for this. Love it! I usually do it with the on stock Dynamics plugin. Defo will give yours a try too.
Thanks man, Bitwig has great stock plugins, i'm glad this helps! 🙂
