I had hoped nobody would notice that. It's even more funny because it's not needed. If you remove the black cover first, you can just access the bolts as-is. That black cover is just that, a cover.
Do you know if this is the same place you'd need to get to to change the rear turn signal lights? I can't find a how to video on those lights for some reason.
I just tried changing them for my 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid SEL and they were already LED and didn't look like they could be replaced. The one bulb that was able to be removed wasn't even connected to anything, no wires at all! 🤣 My dad said it is basically a dummy bulb.
Do you know which fuse to disconnect to stop the dinging sound when one of the rear bulbs is burnt out? Every time my foot is on the brake it dings every second and I lose my mind!
Thank you for the video. This works for 2022 Ioniq Hybrid too. Confirmed. The black piece - material quality is unbelievably cheap and bad LMAO. Hyundai you disappointed me!!
@@zonoskar I was told you cant do that with led il have a ioniq hybrid and my tail light just went out but there also telling me the bulb cant be found only at hyundai
@@1Nonly7871 I have the EV. The brake light and the tail light already are LED. I changed the indicator light to LED. It is possible if you get the right amber colored LEDs. Thanks for saving me $150 an hour at my car dealer. You are awesome.
Damn...Lol
Its hard..I just replaced the light bulb on my Ioniq...
Without your video I couldn't have done it..
THANKS ...👍👍👍
First time i’ve ever use a open end wrench to remove a tail light but it worked like a charm
I laughed way too hard at the first magnet attempt 😂 good video tho

Thank you. I want to see about changing the turn signal to an amber light instead of using the same light as the brake light.
Great video. Very illuminating😎
Thank you! Worked like a charm.
Thanks for the video. Can you write up the tools needed ?
I used some screwdrivers and the biggest spanner I had (32mm).

Yes, the turn signal lights are there too. In fact, I replaced mine with LED.
