    Holding down on the left steering wheel paddle will allow you to add additional braking power to the regenerative braking. That way you don’t need to press the actual brake pedal in a lot of driving scenarios.

    I know it's an older video now, but i dont recommend putting a jump pack under the trunk.
    We had one under ours, thr bigger one with the tyre saving kit. My wife had the car and the 12v battery issue happened (couldn't detect key, break error etc) but by the time i got to where she was, the 12v was really dead and trunk wouldn't open! Had to climb through the back seat, unload the groceries she just got and get the jump pack!

    Also when you have the welcome mirror lights and auto mirror folding enabled, the mirrors will automatically fold out when you approach with the key before you unlock it. At night it puts the puddle lights and door handle lights on as well. This car has so many features that you can't even buy as extras on most other competitors. Such a shame it's discontinued.

    I sometimes prefer std cruise to adaptive cruise when I'm on the motorway in the UK. With Adaptive Cruise selected, holding down the bottom left button (diagonally opposite the cruise button) will cause it to switch to non-adaptive cruise. This button normally controls how much braking space the adaptive cruise uses. Cycling the cruise button thru speed limiter to Off to Cruise will get you back to adaptive cruise again.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  Рік тому

      Unfortunately in North America, that doesn't work. It's only adaptive.

    You forgot to include “Utility Mode” otherwise known as “Camp Mode” in Teslas -which re-routes all power directly to the main battery, and turns off the 12V preventing it from dying, while disabling drive mode. I do this to camp in my 2020 Ioniq Electric Limited here in CA all the time, quite comfortably running the heat pump all night while it’s 1 C outside in the winter. Same shape, slightly different interior, the copper detailing has gone. Actually you seem to have the updated screen on that model already, so maybe that is all you're getting. Over here you're better off buying a used ev anyway, as long as the interior is clean the mechanics and battery s-o-h last well. If there's a recurrent problem that fast DCFC recharge doesn't charge on the 2020/21. Pull the hidden latch, to reset the locking pin.
    We did try several DCFC chargers, and none would start the recharges. It was actually the locking pin that was somehow jam locked. By pulling the manual unlock, it did resolve the issue and never came back.
    That problem did occur in Montréal,Qc area while i was in Hope,Bc on a road trip from Montréal with my ioniq ev 2019. On the 22 August 2020.
