- Tennessee State University is one signature away from losing its Board of Trustees. Additionally, the university's finances are in a clearer light after two different audit reports were released.
Every university over books housing. This is standard.
2.1 billion dollars they need to hurry up an pay. Like pay today

It had to be really bad for it to come to this.
I am curious to know what discrepancies they were looking at with the board's management of the funding. Everyone is so concerned about the money the school didn't get that we aren't looking at what they did with the funding they actually got. They may be 2.1 billion short because they failed to account for the money they were getting. It comes down to trust and these people who were vacated were responsible for managing the funding which includes doing the paperwork and ensuring there was transparency of where the funding was being spent. the inadequate and unrenovated housing plus the missing records painted a picture of impropriety and was an indicator that the money was not going where it should have that's why this happened. They had a duty to these students and they failed plain and simple.
Some things in Tennessee never change..

“If they can’t manage it then we need to find people who can”
So who was fired or what changes have been made considering the State owes said school $2.1B?
They were let go because they didn't know how to manage so hell yeah boot them
