This was such a beautiful message. I had just started following your channel to make it easier to find your library of binaural beats and to have beautiful nugget of truth and wisdom dropped in my lap was so unexpected and timely. I've been in an internal battle the last few days and this helps me realize how dismissive I've been to that part of self. Thank you so much. ❤🙏

I'm glad to hear this! Sometimes it's so hard to not reject aspects of ourselves, especially when they have taken up really extreme roles in trying to protect us from harm. It always touches me when I witness people coming into more compassion with all of themselves. all the best! :)

Well done Sam. Good to have ya back. Self love to me is simply letting go...letting go of expectation of yourself and others will lead you into a non dual mindset that will lead you to freedom of self and others. Kinda like seeing through the matrix and realizing when nothing matters....it's a beautiful thing. There is no good nor bad...no right nor wrong. Just what 'is'. Take care friend.

I used to listen to your binaural beats a lot but your videos about mental health have really helped cuz I've hated myself since childhood.

    Dear Sam,
Might be a bit technical commentary but perhaps you might be interested.
Can the left-right sound output of binaural beats be modified in such a way that they stimulate one half of the brain more than the other? Has anyone tried this? Is this an avenue worth exploring for self exploration in your opinion?

this is Internal Family System technique. . . what if one is open to new options but am unsure about this concept? are there other things to start with before trying this? because the 2 sentences you mentioned when the clip start does seem somewhat true for long term feasibility wise. having gratitude or reaching there somehow takes time. there's that missing link?

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. I'd suggest just trying it out for yourself if you are open to - but unsure about - the method that is IFS. There's no prerequisite for working with the IFS approach, so there's nothing you need to start with before using it.
Reaching a place of felt gratitude and self-love takes time, yes. But it also needs to be experienced by the right parts of ourselves in order to become fully embodied and a lived experience (something that we do not have to effort ourselves into, but that is just naturally a foundation of our experience). So there's that 'missing link' between cognitive understanding of gratitude and the felt and embodied experience of it. If there are parts of us stuck in experiences other than relaxation, openness, curiousity, love, empathy, compassion, etc. we will never fully live these qualities, but only aspire to them...
      Hope that makes sense :)
