Good playthrough. I might just have to give thus one a try. I enjoy Calico and I hear people compare this to Calico, but becoming more open as you go instead of tighter as you go.
Yep, that is exactly right. It lacks all of Calico's brutality, which is good or bad depending on your preference. I think I prefer the chill of Cascadia. Thanks for watching.
@@TotallyTabled I do enjoy the puzzle as things begin to tighten up in Calico, which is why I have been hesitant to get Cascadia. I was kind of thinking if they are so similar, but it was lacking the tightness of Calico, I'd probably just play Calico. But now that I have watched your playthrough, I see it has its own puzzle that differs enough.
@@MerlinsManor Cascadia is definitely more welcoming, but there is plenty to chew on. I just know a lot of the people I play games with would find Calico more frustrating than anything else.

First Question
Hi , my question is on the level 12 of ACHIEVEMENT SCENARIO that can be played in solo mode.
In this scenario the Roosevelt elk token cannot be placed on forest habitat , does it means that the Roosevelt elk cannot be placed on the tiles that represents two types of habitat like forest and Prairies or forest and mountain ??
Or
It cannot be placed only on those tiles that represents the single forest habitat ??
2nd Question:-
During a particular turn ,I had used a Nature token to wipe all the wildlife token , when I took out the next set of wildlife , three fox token came out , can I again replace those three fox tokens as mentioned in the rule book ??
Before I replace those three fox token , shall I put back all those wildlife token into the bag that I had wiped out using the nature token ??

How many hex tiles does a solo player start with?

I noticed second to last turn you grabbed a fox from different column,I thought you had to grab the whole column. Not being as punk just making sure I'm playing right
You can ignore the rule about grabbing the whole column if you spend a nature token. I mention it the first time I use one, but I should have highlighted it when I did it the second time. Thanks for pointing that out. Hope you enjoy the game!
I count 13 points for fox
The foxes also count as unique animals, so the two next to each other count each other.
I always neglect foxes when playing and I don't know why
I tend to like the foxes and usually ignore the salmon for some reason. Not sure why either. Thanks for watching, Matthew!
