Great solo playthrough! This was helpful and fun to watch. I liked how you showed close ups of the cards you were playing and you described everything you were doing very well. 👍👍
I was just recently able to find a copy. It was hard to find for a while but finally got it added to the collection and now just need to get it to the table.
@@GamesOffTheShelf Great game with beautiful artwork and fun gameplay. Definitely staying in my collection. Let us know what you think once it hits the table. Thanks for watching!
This video is a masterpiece. The music suits the game and you explain so well. Just ordered the game and cant wait. New to the hobby. You got a new follower mate 👍
Today I needed a little refresher on the gameplay and your video was great for that and I noticed something huge. You scored 54 points here, but guess what you forgot your NINE points from the campfire bonuses... So actually 63 points!!! You legend 🤓
Ha, ha. Yeah, that was a big mistake but I missed it when filming AND editing. Yikes! Board gaming has taught me that to err is human. But at least I won! I'm glad the video helped, Henne. Did you play? What do think of the game?
@@TotallyTabled Yes we did play (3 times in total, because I needed an ultimate winner). And since it's becoming more chilly and dark outside my boardgames are finally allowed to get off of their shelves again. Thank God! 😅 And we love Meadow so much. We always love to take our time by admiring the fantastic artwork or looking our favorites up in the index!!! But oh did I forget how thinky that game can be; which card to chose, which symbol to cover up and when to do so et cetera. All in all I think it's a light and still relaxing game with an easy mechanism, which makes it also a super gateway game 😉
I had a similar feeling as you at the end. Played it for the first time tonight, felt I did horrible and ended up with 58 points besting Rover’s 50 points. Excited to play again after that very slow first walk-through.
Thanks for the video. I love the music lol but maybe it’s just me. It’s relaxing and fits with the game. Going to try this tomorrow solo. Just found this channel. Great work.
Thanks Shannon. I'm so glad you found the channel and enjoy it. Hope you have fun with the game. Let us know what you think of it once you get it to the table. Thanks again!
That is a tough one. Parks is the lighter of the two I feel, and shorter. They feel quite different to play. I'm not sure which I prefer. Depends on mood and player count I guess. I recommend both for sure. Thanks for watching M D!
Yep, in my early videos the music was too loud. I've since corrected the issue in newer videos, lowering it to almost nothing when I talk. Thanks for watching!
I got the game the other day and played my first solo after watching this video. I also felt like I was doing terrible (didn't have much expectation for the first game), but ended up scoring 70 points vs 45. So i guess I did more than well on my first game. I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly since I was checking the rule book from time to time. Is the solo mode really that easy in this game? Anyways, can't wait to try it out with my friends!

Thanks so much for the compliment, Games Off The Shelf. I really appreciate the view and hope you enjoy the game!

Your video did such a good job of capturing the beauty of the game, music, serenity; well made.
I appreciate that, Anthonyrun. Thanks for watching my video!

And of course it's already in the description of the video, should have looked before 🙈😅

I had this game for so many years and just played once, it definitely needs another run

Just ordered Meadow during Black Friday sale. Very helpful video on the solo play - looking forward to playing it.
I hope you enjoy the game, John. I think it is great fun to play and really beautiful. I'm glad you found my video helpful. Thanks for watching!
Great playthrough, thanks! I think you actually scored 63 though, as you didn't count your bonus tokens.
Yep, you are right. Forgot about that. I'll happily take more points! 😎 Thanks for watching!
that was really well made, relaxing and informative! great video 😁
Thanks so much! That is very kind of you to say. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and happy you checked out my channel! Have a great day!
@@TotallyTabled you too!!:)

im back and forth between this and parks.curious to see what the downstream expansion adds.

You might want to turn the music way down, to barely audible. It is in competition with your voice. Thanks for posing the solo play, very helpful.

I wish the solo mode was tougher - crushed it the first game. Just too easy to beat.
Beautiful video! Could you please tell me how replayable is it? If you had to rate replayability on s scale of 10?

In the solo game with road tokens how many are you supposed to use actually? I couldnt work that part out?
