      😂😂😂😂I don't mean to be rude, but putting any kind of food in your hair is a waste of time. Putting food in your hair does absolutely nothing. The molecules are not small enough to penetrate the hair shaft. Unless you're a chemist, you could actually be damaging your hair with d.y.i. treatments. The molecules have to be hydrolyzed as in, small enough to penetrate the hair shaft. Also, it's bad to do d.i.y. treatments because of you don't know the pH level of what you are putting in your hair, that is not good. There's no scientific logic behind this. I used to do these treatments all the time until I learned about proper hair care and protein and moisture balance and logic based in science. Don't try this. Also, your going to get chunks of food in your hair and it's just going to be a knotted water of time. The only food I put in my hair is gelatin for a d.i.y. protein treatment, BUT ONLY IF YOUR HAIR NEEDS PROTEIN. also, if you want to try the gelatin treatment, know that low porosity hair can be protein sensitive, but that's the only type of food I'll put in my hair. Offering advice like this could be damaging to others hair.

      @Icyjessy1 2 роки тому +3

      @@palestar828 I use gelatin as well. I'm not sure banana has long term effects, but it defines my hair like nothing else. No other formulated products including all eco styler or wetline do the same thing. More of a natural light definition. I used it as a base for a wash and go(like a clay mask) but stopped because of chunks even when I used a sieve.
      The growth thing, I last did banana mask 2 years ago and my hair grew about an inch in 2 weeks around that time, but I never made the connection because I only did it once and it never happened again. Now that I'm hearing other people saying similar, I wonder if that was it. My hair grows almost an inch a month because of good genetics normally
      I did it again recently. Same smoothness and I find that using a cheese cloth to strain gets rid of small particles. Rinsed out clean

    For everyone who struggles with chunks of banana or any food in your hair, strain it after you blend. A strainer with smaller holes, like a rice strainer, works. A nut milk bag also work really well.

    Also to add to what she’s saying, start juicing. It helps if ur doing this on the outside but also if u take care of urself on the inside. Trust me! U can even juice the veggies or fruits u don’t like to eat and add pineapple, apples etc to hide the taste. I hate cucumber and celery but I juice them and there u go an instant vitamin boost. 🎉 Also try smoothies which gives u the added fiber of the fruit.

    I always use brown, over ripe bananas when I do a banana hair mask because it's easier to apply and wash out and yes, I *have* gotten banana bits stuck in my hair that took FOR EV ER to clear out, no matter how well I shampooed it. But I'm glad you have a blender so you don't need to wait until they're at that point of ripeness. By the way, your hair is so lovely. 💖😊🌈

    Mercy I've been following you and your situation. I've been praying for you. Now you don't know me no more than other subs. I'm 60 and from my experience, now is NOT the time for you to have a new man in your life.
    Here's why if you have shared with this man in detail you life with your ex he has already formulated how he is going to treat you based on that, I could be WRONG but I doubt.
    He is going to treat you like a queen until he gets you comfortable and then little by little he is going to start and before you know it, it WILL be WORST than your ex!
    Now is the time for you to have PEACE and pray and ask God for guidance. Protect you and your daughter and especially your BRAND! Stay single until you met someone who you are EQUALLY YOKED WITH.
    Be blessed and I will continue to pray.

    Thanks for sharing. Your hair is very beautiful. My hair is growing but my problem is my edges and worse at my temple area.☹

    • @rays2542
      @rays2542 3 роки тому

      Always keep edges moisturized as well, we tend to forget that. Try not pulling it back so much. And if your ticking a puff, tight bands cut blood circulation 😉

    • @JulietRobin
      @JulietRobin 3 роки тому +1

      @@rays2542 thanks for the info. My hair is always in eight twists. No bands. I moisturize etc. I think it may be stress. When I go out special I wear wigs for a few hours. Or I just go out naturally with it. Nothing pulled back. I will get through this.

    There's a method that I've been using for years that will allow you to use the banana mask, hot oil treatment, henna and other "wet" masks all year round.
    The trick is to use plastic wrap (saran wrap). I've been using this method for many years now.
    *Things you'll need:*
    Plastic wrap (saran wrap) 2 to 4 pieces
    Hair clip/hair tooth comb
    Conditioning cap (optional)
    Hair bonet
    Bathroom towel(s)
    After applying the mask etc., to your hair, pin your hair up with a hair clip or hair comb to keep it in place.
    *How to wrap your hair w/plastic wrap:*
    Take two to four pieces that are around 16 to 20 inches length (depending on the length and thickness of your hair). It has to be long enough to wrap around your head and overlap and close. Depending on how thick/long your hair is you can wrap it 2 to 4 times; clockwise and then counter-clockwise. Make the plastic wrap snug enough so it won't come off but NOT so tight that it feels uncomfortable. You can leave it over your ears or affix it so your ears aren't covered. Once you're finished wrapping your hair/head with the saran wrap, then cover that with a plastic cap or/and your sleep bonet.
    *Last but not least...*
    It's also a good idea to have some towels (fold them/double them) over your bed pillow so just in case you're a wild sleeper and the cap etc., comes off, you won't ruin your pillow.
    Hope this helps

    Great video!! I found out that if eat my blood type diet, my hair grow fast. I started eating 3 pieces of fruit a day which are my blood type diet fruit, and one is bananas. I also made a homemade blend of oils using Softee hair growth oil, Amir and Olive Oil and rub it on my scalp like 3 days a week. I scrub hair once a month with acv and baking soda and I also go and get a deep scalp massage and conditioning treatment every other month, by a licensed stylist. I take a B vitamine and drink a collagen and protein shake every day. i am actually pretty shocked by how fast my hair is growing. I go tmy hair cut super low in march and it is the double the length it was before I cut it.

    If you don't have a blender. You can just mix/stir it well until it's turns to goo and use a strainer to remove the chunks
