After Stanley and I built our custom Home Depot lightsabers, Tresh got a little jealous and decided to build her own. To make it feel like a real Galaxy's Edge lightsaber, Tresh even incorporated her own kyber crystal just like the sabers from Savi's Workshop. @@BenLaurence to be fair, they actually did this sort of stuff to make props in 1977 when making the movie.
@@classic_jam yes the original light saber was based upon a Graflex flash handle with a few bits added like the rubber grips, D ring but not much more than that.

Not gonna lie, that part where she took off the necklace to put the crystal in the lightsaber seemed like a really emotional moment straight out of a film, especially with the music. Great video!

Devin Underwood it WAS emotional 😭 that was one of my favorite necklaces I had to sacrifice in the name of the Jedi 😂✌🏻❤️
I agree, it was her facial expression in that moment, like she was giving something away that was very sentimental and dear to her; in that moment, a million voices cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.
Gave me more emotions than the last movie did... GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP!

Yeah it’s definitely more affordable than the replica sabers! Definitely give it a try! It’s hard piecing it all together but worth it in the end. We definitely plan on adding blades, that may be a video in the future 😉

I actually got skimatics to make those lightsabers it the one's george Lukas had when making them for the movies back then and it teaches you how make the electronics to put in them to make sounds and everything. If you need them i think i got them saved still just recently found the papers i printed when i used them in college to make my own saber for my metal and woodshop class final project.

I made mine using part of a grinder for the base section which gave it a lever activation switch allowing switching on and off with ease during fights

Nice, something I came up with is maybe build a hilt where you can get parts to put in it from Vader's vault, ultrasabers, or saberforge so that you get a sound font, a blade, and everything else that goes inside of it.
