Awesome video....it's a shame you have all that rich ground and no water...such is life...loved your Eureka moment when you saw your gold,we all do it, no matter how much there is
You will benefit by learning the Alabama tap, when you get down to the end pull the heavy stuff down a little then tap on the top of the pan and you will see the gold go to the top of the pan as your tapping it will save you half the time to finish the pan. Let me know if you have any questions.
Great video! I sampled right below that slab lol. I know exactly where yall were. If it ever rains you are welcome to come see where we dredge. My avatar was from that location in one day solo digging. Find any nice fire in that bucket of fire agate/cheladony i gave you?
Hey!!! Hahah that’s cool. And great finds in the pan you have! Yes I have several from the bucket of agate. I just posted a TikTok about it yesterday:)
Hey Elley! We will be going to Stanton gold camp in Arizona next week to do a metal detecting event. We have never did any dry washing, but the guys out there are gonna take us. We hope we get on some gold. I enjoyed watching.
Faster and is more acetate to just dry pan. Could run all those buckets in a few hours and lost nothing with only a board and a gold pan. Be doing videos hopefully this summer on how it's done. That and the effectiveness if a rockerbox. As both are lost art that anyone prospecting could really use.
I feel for you for drywashing as far as I mean concerned but my plan is I'm coming up there around Apache Junction in December or first part of January my plan is I gig out all of my pay dirt how can I load the dirt in a truck then I haul it back to the stream where I have set up and pump water instead of the inefficiency of drywashing, of course I think I have a fairly nice sluice setup I hope to find some streams so I can dredge I guess I'll find out when I get there God bless, good video you need to get a magnet then you can sort the black sand out faster, that actually works, again God bless don't have too much fun
dry washers can be and are very efficiant in captureing gold . check your tailings , there could be the reason for a washer set up is wrong in some way. its about the adventure but a fine tunened adventure is more fun .
At this rate you're going to spend more than you are recovering but it is a lot of fun. After mining the beaches of Nome for several years I feel a little sympathy for you. Many times I would get more in one pan full of beach gravel than you get in a day. What ever happened to the river the dredges operated in?
@@ElleyKnowsRocks I use jet dry to reduce the surface tension of the water which helps prevent small gold flakes from floating on the surface tension and on out of your pan.

Keep doing what you're doing love that video it's cool to see the little helpers living alongside you while you're doing this natural thing

Favorite part of the whole video was you showing your excitement. Way cool 😎👍
Well done ,that's my favorite method of prospecting 😁 especially in the bottom of a wash were you can see the gold hiding in the bedrock
Thanks! It was fun!!

Did you make it to AJ?
Which claim?
Cool channel why have I only just found this 👍🏼
Did you know dirt hydrates the skin and help with exfoliating it 😅
That’s why Elephants enjoy laying down in mud 😊
I believe you're okay using your hands because knocking a little flakes out of the clay or dirt may happen when you use your hands
Well prob shouldn't call it claim jumping then.....thats stealing!!??
Claim jumping isn't something I'd be advertising.
A shoestring makes a great temp. belt, little Sister. rock on!

Somehow I missed the part where you claim jumped.
Dang, it sure does take a long time for you to pan a pan of gold..... lol...
Keeping claim jumping and see how that goes for u
Lots of fun. Keep the great videos coming. Don't hurt yourself hauling all that gold. Be safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
It was so fun!! I will keep it going! And be safe
Looks like you had a great time!! That hole looks very familiar hahahahahaha

Good job! Looks like that gold has a fair amount of silver in it.
Thank you it was fun! I also go out and find placer claims for people to.
Fun times!!!
❤
Elley, you are the coolest prospector on youtube!!! Love your videos. Love your enthusiasm. And speaking of rare specimens, Love you too Elley!
No water in the desert to DREDGE, plus back in the day, no such things as a dry land dredge
Was there enough water to dredge? When I think of dredges I think of Gold Rush size. I guess there were smaller ones. Cool that you found some gold.
Mya Rudolph
Nice to watch and learn the gold panning and dry washing techniques. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Hard to imagine that there was ever enough water for a dredging operation.
Lol your reaction to gold is great. I still get like that , just with 1/2 oz clean outs lol. Cool vid
Cool
lol.
So cool! Goes to show ya ;you got to work that hiney, to get some shiney! Yee-haa!!
Glad I found your channel‼️
Awesome

I like jet dry. Less foam.
For what? :) my hands lol :)
