Great finds. I have a place to stay at Rye Patch so I'm mostly in that area. I get easily distracted when I find quartz crystals and limonite cubes, so I relate to you finding the chrysacola and amythest. LoL

So I know of some bedrock areas in forest land here in Az. Should I brake for it? Area has basalt, shale, iron rich areas dry to flowing creeks and tiny springs. Its flat areas of mountainous. Also has quartz, limestone, sandstone, cinder, fossil rich.

Hello I live in northern Phoenix, and I am just getting in to gold hunting, could you point me in the general direction of where I should go in the Bradshaw mountains, and when you refer to black Canyon where exactly is that. Thank you! Great video!
Join a club like the roadrunner prospectors, and you can have access to hundreds of acres of claims near you . Black canyon referes to the general area around Rock Springs north of Phoenix off the I-17

We looked hard and may have it narrowed down to a specific area.....Need to wait until it drys out and return to the area.
That deer should have got the carne asada burro from Alfonsos instead 🤣 nice hual! I'm hearing the gold monster finds gold the gb2 doesn't and the gb2 finds gold the monster doesn't 🤔 man I would get a portable vac up there and bring loads of the material down to a drywasher when it dries out.
Splitting hairs with those two detectors capabilities....Everything is soaked, so no dry washing for a while ...its a bummer

My first detector now is the GB2, and I had the doubt to know which equipment is better in GM1000 VS GB2
@@spineshank1111 Your splitting hairs between the two machines. My friend uses a GM 1000 and I Use the Gold Bug II . I havent seen enough advantage to justify me going and buying the GM 1000. We both find lots of gold with both machines...Hope that helps.

What's a Specimen mean?
The term specimen usually refers to a nugget that has rock in it as well as gold
Would that mean your close to the main body where the gold is formed?
My friend has a medal detector called a gold monster 1000. He let me use it, I'm going to wonder around a local creek see if I can find some gold, we'll see.
I don't really know how to use it. Going to watch more UA-cam and figure it out.
