The best review I've watched so far, short and to the point 👍. Its the video length that puts me off people's reviews. Waiting for mine to arrive, can't wait to try it on the rivers of oxfordshire
Is it possible to climb back into the kayak after swimming without flipping it over easily? I like to jump out of boats to go for a swim but want to make sure it's not to easy to tip an inflatable kayak over when climbing back in.
10 months late here. It's kiiiiiinda easy but it does take some effort. It's REALLY stable, though. So if you're used to self-rescue in a hard shell, you can pull it off in this without too much fuss. Big thing would probably be having a paddle float handy IMO but obviously YMMV.
Thank you! My personal favourite inflatable kayak to use is the Sea Eagle Razorlite. However it's a more streamlined kayak and less stable for beginners... But it sure glides nicely and feels good to paddle. :) If you want to check it out here's my review: www.inflatablekayakworld.com/updated-ik-review/
I would definitely agree with that. The bag feels cheaply made. Mine has lasted longer than I expected it to but it would be nice for a little extra reinforcement at the seams.
@@InflatableKayakWorld I've had my Intex Excursion 5 on the water once in the same type of bag. It already has one seam that separated along about 6" on the seam. If you have a sewing machine, I'd recommend taking 10 minutes to run one or two more sets of stitches along each seam of the bag. That said, the material seems plenty sturdy enough, once the seams are reinforced.
Hi Alison, I have an Intex Challenger K2. Have you reviewed that as I have not been able to take it out (solo) on the wide often very calm River Medway estuary (UK) as yet! Thanks!
Hey Bryan, I've only reviewed the Challenger K1 solo model. It's a fun little kayak and so lightweight and portable. It surprised me how much I enjoyed paddling it. Here's the link to my review of the K1 if you want to check it out... www.inflatablekayakworld.com/intex-challenger-k1-inflatable-kayak-review/
@@InflatableKayakWorld Thanks Alison, I imagine the K2 feels a larger version of this 'streamlined' kayak; I will take it out on a quiet river before the estuary to make certain first!! Thanks!
Hi Alison, that brand of Kayak appears to be advertised a lot in UK. I think its quite popular in UK at an acceptable price. I have plenty of time to research and decide which make and model to buy. Stay safe atb Taff 🤠

Thanks David! It's a fun little kayak, I hope you enjoy it. Happy paddling!
Very helpful! Thanks!
You're welcome, so glad you found it helpful! Happy paddling!
1:14 Did you have the fin attached. I noticed a vast improvement with it on, way less of side to side movement like in the video
thank you! very good video!
Thanks!! 🙂

Awesome review 👏🏽👌🏽👍🏽... what inflatable kayak would be your #1 choice for one or two people❓

The seam on the carry bag needs another couple of seams to bulk it up a bit or the seam will split on you.
