Hi everyone! In this video I share all my completed pages in the Mythographic series of books that I currently own. As always, thanks for watching and happy colouring! - Розваги
The Mythographic books are some of my favorites. What a wonderful treat to see all your masterpieces in one video done in these books. I was trying to see what you did with the "found objects" that I personally wish they would leave out, but couldn't see any in the pictures you did.
Oh I just colour the hidden objects the same as everything else on the page but I’m glad they weren’t too obvious. Thanks for watching!

Such beautiful, uplifting pictures. They are all gorgeous. I only have one of these, Paradise. I wish the “hidden” objects were less and considerably smaller because there are some wonderful images in it. Really interesting to see a set of completed pages from a single artist. It’s easy to get a proper feel for the work then.
I agree I would prefer them without the hidden objects but I still love the books enough to buy and colour in them. Thanks for watching, as always!

I am AMAZED by your coloring! The colors you put together, the colors next to each other, different mediums...just all beautiful, ethereal,WOW!. Absolutely beautiful pictures! You inspire me so much K. I was gifted Mythographic Paradise about two months ago and I haven't coloured in it at all yet. The complexity of the pictures intimidates me and I'm not even sure where to start or what to do with all the little hidden things throughout the page. Your pictures have given me some ideas, thanks so much!
Thanks so much. Try to start with the background and get that out of the way. Then I just focus on one part at a time, eg start with the main image (or the one taking up the greatest space on the page). I just colour the hidden objects as usual.

Love…love..love this…I have all these except Animals…my first one was Odyssey and I have worked from image to image and am over half way through it…Like you I have used all sorts in it…your ideas and colour choices are beautiful…🥰

The aquatic one is lovely but they do intimidate me a bit, that won’t stop me from colouring in them though - got to give it a shot!

I really need to color in my Mythographic books, I have only finished one page and I have 4 of the books. I like the artwork but am a bit intimidated.
Your pages are lovely!
Thanks so much, just go for it, you will find it becomes easier and easier the more you put colour down. Just focus on one part at a time and you’ll love it!

Your blending is just breathtaking and your coloring is just gorgeous… seriously! How many hours does a page take you ? Cause you must be the most detailed patient person.
It does require patience definitely, but surprisingly it doesn’t take that long - about 3-4h but not in one sitting!

Beautiful. I wish maybe you had done color alongs for some of these. When you use inktense do you use two layers or just one? Or are you using the blocks of inktense instead of the inktense pencils? Im inspired by these pages. I'm thinking maybe some of the metallic paints would look nice on some of the pages whih have buildings in world of wonders? I don't have any of the mythographic books yet but they are on my wishlist. Thanks for sharing your colorings.
Thanks very much. I only use one layer of Inktense but if it’s patchy then I will use two (only if the paper can handle it though). I agree the metallic paints would look really good on buildings in WWW.

Thank you Gloria. I started with some Marco Raffine coloured pencils and Johanna Basford’s Secret Garden book back in 2015. I just built up my collection with time.
You’re work is absolutely gorgeous!!! I didn’t even know Posca made glitter paint pens, so I have added them to my cart! May I ask, how do you get the loose glitter to stick?

Thank you - no I didn’t prime any of the pages beforehand as the paper is good enough quality to handle the mediums!
You do such a beautiful job! I'm sorry if I missed it but, what do you use for the metallic effect?
I use all sorts - my favourite metallic gel pens are the Uniball Signo ones but I use Finetec Coliro paints and metallic paints from Etsy - Reneeissance colours and The Art Spirits.
my goodness you're colored paged are so nice. I have a couple of these lovely coloring books and well my question to you is, how do you begin a page? like how do you know where to start? because there is so much on the pages, and I just have no idea as to where to begin, it's so overwhelming. just wondering your strategy and if you could give any kind of advice. :)
Thanks so much, I usually start with the background so then it’s easier to colour the actual image. Just focus on one part at a time and before you know it, you will be done!
OMG...the combination of intense colors and the metallic colours is so amazingly beautiful. I think I'll try this for my next coloring page. What kind of metallic paint do you use?
I use the Finetec Coliro paints, you can get them open stock on Jackson’s art (which ship worldwide I think) or Paperstory.co.uk. There are also some really nice paints on Etsy, check out The Art Spirits and Reneeissance colours - 2 of my favourite stores for paints. Thanks for watching!

Hello thank you for your help I was able to find all four books at barnes noble our local bookstore on line tho.......I was just wondering also could you tell me where/ what country the book was made in????? I think it might say on the back of the book...
Hi, I think it was published in New York- that’s what it says at the back of the books anyway!
What did you use for light rays from the lighthouse?
I used Coliro silver Pearl paint
What kind of coloring supplies would you recommend for a beginner?
A set of colouring pencils (Brutfuner squares; Arteza expert, Black widow are all great), some acrylic glitter paint (clear), some metallic paint e.g. Coliro or other brands and some gel pens.
Love your use of metallic paints in these pages - awesome works. I think these books are underrated- I love the way they are one sided and take multi media - I'm excited to see the next mythographic book due out in Oct there is a new illustrator.

I love seeing how others color, there is always something I learn. I have a question... what is yours background and where can I find it please?
I use lots of different things for backgrounds such as Inktense, metallic paints, Pan pastels etc… Most you can find on Amazon.
