The Mythographic books are some of my favorites. What a wonderful treat to see all your masterpieces in one video done in these books. I was trying to see what you did with the "found objects" that I personally wish they would leave out, but couldn't see any in the pictures you did.
I am just getting into colouring in. Wow, a huge industry based around it all. Your work is beautiful. Inspiring. It is very fun and addictive., both the books and the supplies!!
Such beautiful, uplifting pictures. They are all gorgeous. I only have one of these, Paradise. I wish the “hidden” objects were less and considerably smaller because there are some wonderful images in it. Really interesting to see a set of completed pages from a single artist. It’s easy to get a proper feel for the work then.
I am thrilled you made this video. The work that you put into these pictures really stands out, K. As a matter of fact you inspired me to have a go at these books. My personal favourite so far is the paradise book. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work in these books. I think your the bee's knees.😁
Absolutely beautiful pictures! You inspire me so much K. I was gifted Mythographic Paradise about two months ago and I haven't coloured in it at all yet. The complexity of the pictures intimidates me and I'm not even sure where to start or what to do with all the little hidden things throughout the page. Your pictures have given me some ideas, thanks so much!
Thanks so much. Try to start with the background and get that out of the way. Then I just focus on one part at a time, eg start with the main image (or the one taking up the greatest space on the page). I just colour the hidden objects as usual.
