The cats in the stocking are so cute! I love all of your pages. I got sick too at the end of December and didn't feel like coloring but we both still got a lot colored.😊

Loved these all K ☺️ I really love that Gabi Wolf page. Made me want to go get the book lol. I did enjoy coloring in my Johanna planner for most of the year, but really dropped off the last couple months. I liked to use it to play with all my different pencil sets. Hope you enjoy coloring in yours!! Take care ❤️

Hi k beautiful colouring pages hun I’m following Rachel’s colour along with the Johanna basford planner this year I tried last year but didn’t get to colour it in due to pain from kidney removal surgery.. mine is going to be simple too.. happy new year 🥳 too ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊xxxx

I love how deep you get your metallic paints to look. How do you stop the Finetec paints from looking patchy when the page moves after the paint is dry? I always seem to have patchy paint.
My favourite page is the mouse house clock in RJ Hampson's Christmas Houses. Love that.
Aww thanks Sue, happy new year to you too and I hope 2024 goes perfectly for you and family! I make sure I leave the water on the pan for at least 2 minutes or preferably more so that the paint thickens. The thicker it is to start with before applying, the less likely it will look patchy. However, sometimes if it still looks a little patchy, I just go over with another layer of paint.
Ooh i would love to know how you blend pencils as i don"t know how you get that seamless blended painterly look , your pages are stunning as they always are . Happy New Year, and i hope you are feeling better now .
Use a blender pencil, eg Derwent blender pencil over the top
I'm in awe. I think my hands have forgotten " how to " colour. Maybe , I should go back to basics , and slowly build back up to where perfectionist me is happy. 😂

Happy New Year K! All your pages are gorgeous. Glad to hear that you're healing and and getting better . I've never seen a diamond painting that really interests me. Until I saw the diamond painting of books that you're working on now. That looks like a real eye 👀 opener, I can't wait to see it finished!

Where do you buy your confetti stuff from? They look great on a page, really finishes the pictures off.

If you type Nuvo confetti into google, shops selling it online should come up. Hope you had a lovely festive season and I hope you have the best year ever!

I had the 2022 johanna planner and didn't color 1 page in it. I felt they made the pictures smaller to fit, and I had all the pages in her books, so didn't need 2 color them twice. I just stuck to her books.
I’m not sure I will be colouring much, like you say they are smaller pictures

I have had the Johanna Basford daytimer before, I let myself colour in it but not stress and I purposely left a small part unfinished so it took off the pressure of completing. I have the John Bigwood cat book too, maybe we can do a buddy colour one day.
