- Who doesn't love more storage?! And even better if it has a fun hidden door!
When my new guest bathroom had a dead space in the wall, we decided to use that space to create a pull out shelf unit for large bathroom items - laundry detergent, contact solution, etc. Everything came together when I thrifted an old drawer kitchen cabinet for $30! Check out how we achieved lots of practical storage with a fully invisible look!

AMAZING! You have the best parents, it's so nice to see a family working together.
Aren’t they amazing?! So grateful to have their help!
the door knocker as a hand towel holder and hidden door pull is BEYOND PERFECT
Looks killer - so nice to see how involved your parents are too!
Thank you! And yes, they have been instrumental in my renovation. So grateful to have them involved!
Not only does it look amazing, this is a genius idea.
That's so cool how it disappeared with wallpaper ❤️
This may be my favourite bathroom ever. I love everything about it. Brilliant!
Thank you so much!
Man I am definitely not your target audience, but I’m glad UA-cam recommended your carpet video to me. You have a lot of great content!
Thank you so much man! I appreciate you watching!
This is amazing! You and your parents are so hardworking and talented. Just incredible (and super functional) results
Thank you so much! Function is SO important 🙌🏻
Absolutely brilliant! Love the knocker handle.. super stylish x
That turned out pretty cool. It was definitely a good idea for a hidden storage space. And good use of that cabinet u bought. Nice, Andrew!😊
Thanks Loki!
Excellent result! ❤️ Brilliantly executed!
Genius idea and omg that bathroom is splendid❤️ such a talent!
What a cool idea! And so expertly executed!
Thanks Jo! ❤️
Damn! that looks amazing, your super blessed to have an eye for design. Well done👏 How amazing are you parents❣️
They are so amazing! And thank you. Can’t wait to share more… the bathroom is almost done!
@@REISSUED I can't wait!!!
Multitalented! The Escher-inspired wallpaper is so striking and I love how you walk us through (as always) the challenges of renovating older homes and repurposing cabinetry, furniture and other bits and bobs. Also, dig how you and your parents work so well together! New subscriber and am catching up on a lot of wonderful material. All the best!
So well done!!!! I love hidden doors/spaces!!!👏👏👏
You are so talented!! And i mean vision and thought process turning rooms into art. Beauty amd function!!!!
Love these diy’s to cleverly use dead spaces. Nice job!
I am surprised to see how many young people are using bottled liquid laundry detergent. I want to recommend Earth Breeze laundry sheets. Less space, less plastic, less mess, and clean clothes. Check them out!
Such a great idea. Glad it turned out for you. 💖💖🎶🎶
Hi,
The transformation is stunning. You did a remarkable job. The secret cabinet is so cool.
Thanks
Question- In 1 of your videos you mentioned you're a realtor. Im curious are you remolding this house to live in for years or are you considering flipping it? It would be cool to see ppls reactions walking through it.😜 Because it's so cool and different from what ppl would expect from a house nearly 100yrs old!😁
*Kudos to your awesome parents helping you too!!!
I’m definitely remodeling with the intention to live in the house! Hence some of the bolder choices haha. However, I’m keeping my realtor brain in play when it comes to the more permanent elements… adding the new bathroom adds value for sure, and I’m keeping the tile choices pretty neutral and timeless. Better to keep the big stuff buyer friendly just in case 👍🏻
That is an amazing use of space. You have great vision and style.
Everything is coming along. Loving it.
Ps: I was not expecting to see the bird print style painting - superb mate
Thank you so much! Yes, I’m almost done with the bird wallpaper and will be doing a full video on that process soon!
This was a really cool project. I love the way it turned out
Thanks Derek!
Love your artwork!
It’s a beautiful idea! I also love the wallpaper. Escher is ‘our everything’ lol!
Although the insides of the drawer ask to be painted in something complementary to all the room: dark grey or black. Warm wood now looks unfinished and creates that unnecessary color accent where it shouldn’t be.
As I see the beauty is in the golden faucets in a monochromatic b&w surrounding.
Thank you for your vids!
Thank you for sharing your thinking and decision making!! Very empowering
Of course! Glad to hear you found it helpful ❤️
Insane transformation! I love the drawer idea. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! Working toward a full bathroom makeover video… so that before and after will be even more insane!
Amazing! Really amazing!!! Its a very, very nice bathroom
Thank you so much! Full bathroom makeover video coming soon!
Lllooooooooovvvvveeeeee
Love this idea!!!! ❤
Thanks Andrew! 🙌🏻
Wow😮 very impressed! Love it
That is so cool!
Thank you!
Very cool
Thanks Jana!
so good omg
That is so awesome
Thanks Laura!
Very cool!!
So cool. It looks like you could have had a second one on the bottom for dirty closes, maybe not. Love the "handle and towel holder". Brilliant. Thank you.
Andrew it is a little hard to follow but instead of so many close-ups, it would help to show a wider view. Does that make any sense? The notes you put over the vid are flashed a little too fast to read them.
I love it!
Amazing!!
Majestique!!!! So did you paint all of those swans and patterns?
Thank you! Yes I did! I’ll have a dedicated video on that once it’s done!
Absolutely fantastic! Are you certain the off white is Valspar Decadent? My search is only turning up a red by that name…
Thank you -
Yes the color was discontinued shortly after I started using it 😭 But it still comes up by name on file at Lowes 🙌🏻
You could have added a second one toward the floor for dirty clothes, but can't tell if there was room. I know it is a bathroom, but could you include wider shots so we can tell what is going on? That helps to orientate the area you are working on.
