BMW F32 435i surround view camera retrofit 5DL (wiring) - part 1

- With all the wires for the cameras on the front bumper and the modules to control the cameras for the 5DL surround view option, our BMW 435I f32 will finally get those things added to it. I will not provide part numbers for the wires or the modules since they are chassis dependent so please do your research to make sure you have the right modules. After this the only things left to do are changing the wire looms inside the doors that have the LVSD wires for the cameras under the mirrors.

I just did the wiring yesterday and getting the wires through the large black grommets behind the brake booster and fuse box on the driver and passenger side was bad 😂. Admittedly, the first wire I ran on the driver's side I was figuring out how to do it, but I had a very long (15 inch flathead screwdriver) that I used to push the cable through the hole in the grommet and then fish it from inside. On the passenger side, the job took 5 mins since I learned from the drivers side

I used to put all the numbers, but then for this kind of retrofits the part numbers are very specific to your car options and must be verified for fitment. I could definitely give you a hand to find the parts for your specific car if you need them.

At 9:05, is the harness you are showing in the video the same one that is in the door jamb? Is this removed by removing the rubber boot with all of the door wires that is in the door jamb?

Awesome video! I came across your video while doing some research. I found a genuine Top View 5 Camera Set Mirrors LHD Module Wire complete set and I was thinking about either installing it or having it installed. Does this require additional programming?
That is geat news that you want to pull the trigger on this. And yes you need to code the option in the modules.
Hey, I was planning on installing this onto my 2015 428I Gc. My car came with the bmw reverse camera, so how would I go about installing this? And what parts would I need to buy to install it.

Can you post the part number for the long HSD cable that runs to the rear camera?
There is not a part number for that cable only, you have to get the whole wire package.
Can these parts work for the f30 as well?
Hi Brandon, the repair wires + the center console buttons do work for the f30, the camera module, there are several variations and it depends on the chassis.
