What’s pretty nice about the new module that calls your support weapons down faster is that it becomes MUCH easier to weaponize the drop pod to kill things such as bile titans and chargers, pairs well with SW with a fairly low cooldown such as the EAT or Commando

Protip: You can save your stratagem calls by tapping your Ctrl (keyboard) or Left Bumper (controller). I've been doing this for ages for when I need to save my stratagems or if I accidentally do the wrong code.
That is a nice tip, either that or change to a weapon, but I would like that you didn't drop the stratagem when you get pushed away by a charger or any kind of attack that has knockback :/

Just press 1 for your primary weapon.
That works if you haven't begun to throw it. His character went into the walk speed like he was aiming a grenade, so he was past the point where he could cancel it
I do the switch weapon method, but that works awell

Arc thrower nerfs never made sense to me as someone who never even used it. It was my brothers favourite weapon and now I don’t get to play with him cause he feels the same the railgunners did and dropped the game, dope job arrowhead
Your brother needs to try some variety. This game isn’t about using one thing over and over and over. Variety is the spice of life man.

@@uncleulysses2328 then I'd say this game isn't for him. The whole point of playing this game again and again is the variety it gives when using different weapons. You get new scenarios , new way to play the game , new strats. If he played the same thing over and over pretty sure he would have got bored and left soon and then he would have blamed AH for making the game too boring.
Yes, variety is nice. I try to switch my style but unfortunately the arc thrower is not really as enjoyable like it was before. they need to buff the arc thrower but thanks to the arc shotgun I do not miss the arc thrower lol
It was slap titan across the map due to the ps5 glitch and can tank hulk like small fry

I've recently run the airburst launcher again, especially in Hatchery missions. The feeling when you oneshot one of the egg objectives is amazing xD
Edit: I've changed the keybindings for the weapon functions menu to my arrow keys, same as the stratagems. So much more intuitive than scrolling mousewheels and stuff. At least for me.

Airburst is fun, but very dangerous. I like it to soften up enemy groups.
Since you have all those launchers to call down, I'm surprised you never stick them to the face of the chargers you're going to use them on. It's great fun to take them out with the actual hellpod 😄
That combo of SEAF artillery with the napalm right after was beautiful.

You can rebind your R menu keys in the settings. I have all 4 directions on my mouse wheel. Scroll up, scroll down, tilt left, tilt right.

Fun video but dude you can change your keybinds in the settings on console and pc. Also not sure if its different for you but i can cancel a stratagem by either opening the stratagem menu or switching weapon at any point until i press throw (or if i get knocked by something while im holding it)
You can unselect a stratagem throw by just pressing Ctrl again, which will reopen the menu to select. At that point release Ctrl and you will go back to your primary without throwing. This only works if you're not holding right click to aim the throw

26:10 The arc thrower can finish off a big charger head with 4 shots after you've hit it with anti tank. (railgun does the same with 3). Big chargers were for sure a bit of a nerf to the arc thrower but it makes you run it with AT more.
My build is similar
Primary - Blitzer
Secondary - shotgun (charge the barrel can 1 shot stalker)
Nade - stuns or impact incendiary
Stratagems
Commando - for bile titans 2-3 shot mostly if you get direct hit
Eat 17 - for charger and other things like spore ect
Shield generator bag pack for extra defence or jump pack for speed
And lastly
Machine gun turret or something of your choice emp strike is good if you have incendiary nade. Your choice
I love that RNG, you had a stalker lair, shrieker nests, constant behemoth chargers and bile titans.
Yet I've seen missions where someone might get 1 Bile titan and a few Chargers in the entire thing.
Had the same thing earlier today. 4 missions in a row with minimal heavy enemies and the next one after that was SWAAAAAAMPED with heavies and 2 stalker nest objectives

for me it does. Instant is still 4 seconds or 6 seconds with call in time debuff.
I usually start at extraction as well to leave a supply drop for when you extract (solo at least). Another reason, for bots, it sucks to complete your mission only to arrive at extraction with a jammer, artillery, or anti-air active nearby. With the spawns increased at mission completion, that can be a lot of trouble having to deal with those, so I clear them first near extraction.

If you move forward while firing the EAT or Commando, it does more damage (1 point more, to be exact). This can sometimes make the difference between 2 shots and 3 shots to down a foe.
Yep, against charger behemoths you can take out the leg armor with one shot. Then shred it with the shotgun.
You could try a railgun build for the bugs chargers are super easy with the railgun now and spewers no problem aswell
Might be wrong but you don't need to turn off laserguide to have it stop being laser guided. Usually you can just swap weapons and the moment you swap it turns off laser guided.
Just stop aiming and it stops tracking. The laser is only active while aiming.
What’s the technique for napalms on breaches? U throw it directly on the smoke or just in front of it?
Remap your inputs for changing weapon settings to something that you don't also use for shooting to avoid that annoying glitch you suffered with the commando. Good gameplay as always.

Stalkers have head hitboxes which have 175 hp and 1 armor, and 0% durability, so with a clean shot you can one-hit them with weapons like Dominator or Slugger. With peak physique armor hitting their heads with Dominator is actually pretty consistent. However it can be hard to say if you hit a head or torso, cause first frames of stalker's death animation are pretty similar to a stagger animation
2:30 well to be fair, the Commando has 4 shots, and it kills a Charger with 2. So, if you, for example, have two Chargers running around, you can kill both.
And the exact same is true for the EAT: it one-shots a Charger, and you have two of those, so the end-result is the same.
Only in this situation, since the Commando has a 120s cooldown, versus the 60s of the EAT, it actually becomes less viable in a tight situation when you e.g. have three or four chargers.
Against 3 or 4 chargers yes but in that situation with 2 you have the advantage of not needing to pick up another weapon. I think they're both highly effective and more down to personal preference against bugs, against bots the demolition value of the commando puts it a tier above

Arc vs breaker. I have to spend half of my mag or more depending on the range to kill a brood commander with the breaker. Meanwhile the Arc cracks open the head in 2 or 3 shots without expending ammo. Breaker is better at taking out large groups but lacks the armor pen to deal with anything beyond a warrior. If it wasn't for the absurd number of Chargers that spawn you would likely see it being used more often.
The airburst should honestly be an expendable weapon drop, as it sits it just isn’t that good of a support weapon because it takes up a backpack slot and takes half a decade to reload, but if you got two quick shots every 60 seconds it would be incredible alongside an EAT or commando.

also you can absolutely put the strategem back once you've dialled it, just press the strategem button again or switch weapon
Is anyone else having a problem with the gatling barrage where you throw it and it does not spray down on that area but more to the left or right???
Swapping guided/non-guided should be right click because it's a firing mode.
If you don't aim in, the laser guide doesn't take over.
Aka shoot it then stop aiming and it'll keep going in a straight line.
Have you tried opening the stratagem menu whilst holding a stratagem?
Just yesterday I died so many times because in a heated situation, I was being too quick with my button presses. The game really isn't made well in that sense. I play the best when I'm calm and wait when it's appropriate to press the next button.
I do hope they improve on this because it would raise the skill ceiling by letting us become quicker by learning sequences and timings.

You can put stragim back by slecting a different weapon.
So you can run with it cocked and switch back to breaker if u dont need it.

i play on controller and have also blown myself up using the commando and I've never pulled up the menu with it to turn off the laser, but maybe with the strategem menu open
When you load a sreatagem and don't need it just switch back to primary weapon to put it back
i wish we had a alternative to the breaker incendiary everyone and their mother is using it. been trying to go eruptor or crossbow
Eruptor is just not as good, it would need a bit more splash dmg radius to be good.
Because with 30 shots you just don't have enough ammo. With the previous double ammo, it would be fine, but with the current amount it's just not enough.
The tenderizer is usable too.

What if they changed the arc thrower so that you held down the trigger, and it made a continuous stream of electricity shoot out? Give it a heatsink.
Patrols seem to go absolutely berserk when the players are working on SEAF artillery. I have learned to never do it after the main objective is finished, which just makes the attacks worse.
I dont know if you know but you can strip armor from behemoth charger leg in 1 eat shot if you shoot while jumping into him
Gotta just be moving toward the charger, because physics.
U need to be moving forward in any way, because it lacks 1 damage from the falloff, and somehow moving forward adds 1 to that damage falloff which makes it do enough damage to break the leg

the introduction of charger behemoths makes the EAT much less powerful compared to the commando, since both of them now require two shots but one can fire four times. still, i hope they don't go nerfing the commando because of that. It still has plenty of drawbacks, as it requires two shots for regular chargers unlike the EAT. Also, I wish they would give a proper reticle for the EAT, recoilless and grenade launcher that allows you to account for the drop.

You can't if you've already started holding down the throw button, which is what happened here

he was already holding the throw button. You can only put it away if you havent setup the throw yet; so you can put it away if all youve put in is the code but you havent prepped the throw

Stalker faces are super weak but tiny so if you hit the face they drop instantly with most weapons.

If I am correct, unless the beacon is dropped/thrown you don’t waste uses. I just swap to current weapon and that’s it. I might be wrong but I’ll check it next time I play and will update the comment.

Idk why you think it’s guarded when it’s spewing, if you headshot it while it’s spewing it’s weaker, I’ve killed more BTs in less shots with an open mouth than closed, makes sense too.
i hate that ADS did not change FOV properly like in Rainbow Six Siege at least, i had to lean towards my monitor so annoying...
