It's a bug shared by plasma punisher and purifier too. Idk if you already know, but for anyone who doesn't know, what happens is that the 100 kinetic projectile damage doesn't apply, so you only get the 100 plasma explosion damage.
Just an FYI. Scout striders have weak knee joints as well as the mounting place of the driver cabin, that rectangle part below the shield where the legs are attached (the hips basically). It’s way easier to kill them shooting at those parts rather than directly at the shield itself even if you have a powerful weapon. Unless it’s a railgun which penetrates pretty much everything when overcharged. If you use the r-37 (explosive sniper rifle) a shot right at the top of the shield will instakill the driver because of the explosion radius. Hopefully this little insight will serve you well.
Just a tip for the sample farming, when the symbol is a like crystal that means there is still samples there, then it changes to the basic diamond shape when you have got them all
I'm feeling the sample grind. These don't ship modules don't look too bad. Those rares are gonna take me so long, I'm just gonna farm level 6 or 7 missions.
You may already know this, but getting samples is easily 2 - 3 times faster if you play with others, whether friends or randoms. A squad of 3 or 4 usually gets like 20 commons, 20 rares and usually finds the supers every mission.
Not in my missions, I'm almost always the only one picking up samples even if I'm capped. I'm convinced some players don't actually know how samples work, even though they're playing helldive.@@mack-attack-420

The spear as of right now feel perfect, Kill the larger enemies in one shot and while it struggles with hulks and bile titan. There's a bug going on with the bile titan head and the hulks can go down once you get some distance from it. Though the recoilless rifle has is upside over the spear as it can kill similar enemies the spear can with an extra in most cases. Also its got more ammo and be fired without need the game to lock on to something.
The extraction part is what makes me furious about playing vs. bots. Sometimes they just know and can see/hear/detect you in stealth armor for 100+ meters.
Lol, I'm lvl 62 and this tuesday finally got the final tier 4 module...following day, this news drop. Feels bad man, not even a week of rest from sample grinding. Damn those rares!
@midend only if there's like one or two gunship. When you get surrounded by like 4plus. You need to be able to 1-3tap them or you're getting gangbanged

If anyone sees this.Not a pro but I recommend to try the orbital laser and spear. It’s fun, use the spear take the tanks, hulk, and turrets out if you have the ammo. Then if your able use the orbital laser on the bases the destroy the fabricators. Haven’t tried solo yet but with other players it’s a fast way to keep on the move. Not overpowered but it’s keeps the game more entertaining if anyone tired of the meta.
Never seen so many unguarded objectives. Could it be the Spear? (As in, you're blowing stuff up from the other side of the map, maybe they all go to where the explosions are happening, don't find anything, and de-spawn?) Or do they actually lower the patrol spawn rate if you die a bunch in the first few minutes?
I learned today that a SEAF Smoke shell, when dropped in the doorway or otherwise very close to a fabricator will actually blow it up...with some extra a smoke
I think the whole dying when in water for a short time is realistic if you think about all the armor and items the helldiver is wearing. That's gotta be at least a hundred pounds on top of their own body weight, which is difficult to work with normally, let alone in water. Plus if you wanna go more canon, there's no water in the tutorial, so they don't know how to handle it. Sounds kind of dumb but that would fit with the general comedy of Helldivers

Dude my fps has gone down hill from launch so bad. Now I find its planet dependent. I’ll be getting good FPS and then a snow storm hits and it cuts my FPS in half. I’ve had inconsistent luck with launching in dx11 and clearing shader cache. Good luck. RTX 2080 and i94820x 10 core 20 thread @ 4ghz
@@adamarmstrong5780 Ya the fps has been sucking lately. I'm on ryzen 5 3600 and gtx 1080. My first time playing like a month after release it was consistent 60+ fps to where I wasn't even noticing anything. Now it drops to less than 30 more often than not. Lossless Scaling helps a ton tho
a fair rule for FMC will be super samples+ side objectives i guess other pois it's up to you since it's rng on what they are and what they give, u can't even do bunkers solo too
Rocket sentry is great for bots and worth a try. It doesn't slap as hard as the AC but out ranges most bots and cleans up in grouped play. Maybe not so good solo if it's being focused or you get the wrong type of planet.
I just had all the modules unlocked and samples on max, but fortunately I can do sth with it now and have a reason to play again. ^^ Just playing with friends to level them and to collect Super Credits became tedious.
If you want help getting all those samples let us know. I'm down to squad up for that because I'll be trying to unlock all these new modules as well. Started with the reduced 5% cool downs on everything just felt like a good one to hit first since it works on everything. 😂

Man i love the scorcher so fing much, the feeling is just right... But i made the mistake to try the dominator... It's literally the scorcher but better... Still prefer the design and the feeling of the scorcher but dominator is so much better against bots
I would say that Spear contributed very little to that mission's easiness. Actually expending 100% of your Spear missiles just to kill two stationary hulks that single time you encountered them is absolutely pathetic ammo efficiency. But good job extracting even after that little 'mine incident".

Really wish they'd stop making the Helldive difficulty 'achievable for all'. They've continued to make the most difficult option easier, and this has been the reason I've stopped playing. Code issues? Nah, can understand that. Removing the excitement of the challenge? Nah, can't understand that. It isn't a game for everyone, but it *was* a game for those who enjoyed the Helldive challenge. Now it is not. Maybe they'll bring back the skill separation. Well done on the solo drives! Was fun writing unique stories while progressing through the battle field alone. Don't forget to enjoy the shenanigans with friends though too!😅

That ending is the reason I shoot all the landmines I come across. I've had it happen to many times.
I find myself hitting them by accident when I'm looking behind myself while running.

Scorcher is versatile and powerful, but something still feels off about the accuracy of the crosshair when I use it.
Because most sights are STILL misaligned, it's listed in the ever growing "known issues" list every patch
