If your sister is doing the filming she told the story extremely well.
Kept viewers engaged .
Composition well executed .
Mad props .
Yes she has a green thumb for filming. Great instincts , shot angles , I assume editing as well . A pleasure to watch and an ASMR is no doubt not easy.
Ase - So often YT people know their subject but not videography. Lighting, sound, camera, script ... but these folks got it.
I love that girl 😁

Zdolna i z dobrą inspiracją 🥳🫶💚
I've worked in television for 35 years and you guys have really mastered the skill of telling a story without words. Well done! Keep them coming. Great camera work by Christian too.
Yes. If you will notice each edit clip is from 3 to 8 seconds long. It's brilliant in that it moves along at an enjoyable pace.!

Me gustaría un carro de eso y restaurarlo
Even greater aprreciation for taking the initiative to restore that great little car (@03:37 even original hub caps!)). How many people have simply passed or would still pass by it if this had not been done? Maximum respect!
So glad to see a Toyota revival on here. Tough, durable, and dependable engines. Didn’t even smoke. Great job.
The best part about videos like these is that they dont just go ahead and replace everything, they focus on keeping the original parts and that's amazing to me.
What about the wheels? And those awful looking flares?
Except rims
Obviously these 2 guys must be father and son working harmoniously and calmly with each other without exchanging a single word
They communicate telepathically😂
@@nunyabuziness8421 Angels and higher entities communicate telepathically with each other and with us and we hear them not with our ears but within our minds.
As it should be......
Reminded me of growing up working with my dad
Just watching how things came together on this old 1977 Celica reminds me of how CARE FREE driving one is, how dependable!! Fixing it up made you guys look like the Greatest Mechanics in Northeast Texas!! oops, you already ARE! I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't see you guys on your show(s). I do see the Lord's light in you, and the blessings I've seen you receive bless us too!
Man!...I had a Celica like this one many years ago. Drove it for over 8 years and as a younster it was absolute fun. It was easy to run maintain and repair, so I hope someone takes this one and makes it look prestine again...he will enjoy it. Nice video, thanks!
Just found this channel and decided to see this Old (like me) Toyota would run. LOVE THIS CHANNEL FOR ALL THE REASONS POSTED ABOVE. NO STUPID MUSIC, NO HYPE BS, JUST CONTENT AND RESULTS. ALWAYS THUMBS UP FROM THE 641.. LOVE THAT OL TOYOTA! I OWN A 1999 TOCOMA 4X4 2.7LT, 81K ORIGINAL MILES, ALSO A 02 4RUNNER LIMITED 2.5 LIFT, ALL THE TRD MODES, ADDICTED OFF ROAD FRONT BUMPER, 12K WENCH. WE BOYS GOTTA HAVE OUR TOYS!
Brings back memories, I worked at Toyota back in the day when you could buy these new. A revolutionary car, five speed trans, bolted front fenders, lightweight and fast.
My Merc Capri was able to take it.
🤗
I owned a 1974 Celica ST. Bought it brand new off the show room floor. A great little car with amazing pep. Loved its 1800cc engine. After I got married in 1975 we drove it to Colorado Springs on our honeymoon. Decided to drive to the top of pikes peak. It did fine going all the way up. Don't see to many of these cars around that are in primo condition. You guys have a great find there.
Didnt know i needed silent restoration videos in my life until now. Love them, hope to see more.❤
Love to see this car fully restored
Toyota never disappoints.
It's a cool car, would look even better with the Japanese spec bumpers.
nice car, but hardly "fully" restored
I'm very happy to See the restoration of the Old Toyota Celeca way back 1977.I was Amazed because it is still working Very well, Since it was Stuck in the Junk yard for than 40 yrs. Still running in Best Condition it means you are The Best mechanic ever.... Thanks Everyone....
Thank you for the video. It brought back memories of my late father. He had a 1967 GT. In 1987, he unfortunately had to sell it because we were moving. But I remember the last ride we took together. I was 7 and remembered how my dad had a huge smile on his face driving that car. Good times.
Absolutely love the fact there’s no stupid dialogue on this video. Wish there were more like this. ❤❤❤
I absolutely love these 70s era Celicas; they look like mini muscle cars and clearly influenced by the Mustang and Camaro lines with the famous "Coke Bottle" beltline profile.
Back in the day it was common to see these with slotted mag wheels, pedestal spoilers and "Starsky and Hutch" side stripes!
In high school and college, I had three of them, a '72, a '74 and a '78. I thrashed on those poor things mercilessly and they never broke. They were fun to drive, quiet and smooth at any speed. Great little cars. And yes, the first two had slotted mags LOL
I've owned one celica ta22 ,very nice engine, enkei 13 sport rims at fully body modified and asessories, but i sold it to someone who are really wanted it and take good care of it, i missed her dearly.
My panhard rear axle linkage saved me once iny St
I still own a Hilux with a 2.0
I worked at a Toyota Dealership when this '77 was built. I've had MOSTLY Toyotas the biggest part of my life, and my old 2001 Toyota is way too good to get rid of!!
It's Sunday night, I'm a pastor and it has been a hard day. The burden is heavy until I watched this video. So peaceful and well done! I just finished my first restoration on an '81 CJ5 which was simple but took me 3 years. No one can realize the power of peace that comes with something like this video. Well done, and thank you!!
What an amazing blessing to have your dad and be able to do these things with him.
I lost my dad when I was very young and always wanted this.
Thank you for blessing us with this channel.
That make/model was my very first car.
My elder brother got it for me, I was only 16 years old. Five speed stick. _Wonderful._
I taught myself to drive it and was outlaw (no license, no vehicle registration, etc.) from that moment on, through my remaining high school years.
She and I did great things together.
Thank you for this presentation. I swoon.
Just goes to show that these cars just don't want to die! I love that you managed to save something that had been sitting outside for a long time and making it run nice and smooth again back in the day when it was out and about. I also give credit to the one who filmed and edited the camera shots as they were perfect and well-timed. What really surprised me was that pretty much all the electrics worked in the car (even the radio surprisingly!) I hope you guys can make another one of these videos; it was spectacular!
Not A fan of the no talk video
@@carrollmay7362thanks for sharing that brilliant comment…..wow
Amazing! That old girl was parked for 30 years and she fired up like she had just woke up from a week-long nap. I love that you guys gave her a few extra upgrades, she is a car with a lot of potential and deserves that. I sure if and when you put it up for sale, it'll go quick.
She needs a brand new paint job black Al call her Cely she’s a beauty
That must be a Toyota for you. Gotta find an old FJ next.
Loved it. Finally a natural sounds of turning wrenches and pushing brake pedals, turning motors. Like listening to the fishtank calm. ❤ enjoyed that Brothers.
i adore the silent ones. It feels like a proper film. i can really focus on what you’re doing and how damn beautiful these vehicles are. thank you for making them feel young again :)
Did a 1975/6 red model up in 1981 whilst living in west germany, tevog racing wheels, black viynal roof, rear spoiler rechromed bumpers, zebarted underneath and a complete respray in the jaguar paint bay. Looked brilliant almost the same as yours the u tube video brought back so many happy memories. Glad you just filmed it, her shape lines and presence was wòrth restoring. Thank you. GP.
I bought a 77' Celica GT Fastback in 95' when I got home from the Army for 200$! Ran like a champ ...only thing I did was flush the coolant and new thermostat. How I lost it? That's another story. I loved it right up to the point where you ruined it with those fender flares! Com'n man!😊
I really hope someone puts the time and effort into this one to get her back to...let's say driver condition. The boys got it moving under it's own steam but a new dash, rear deck, upholstery, and a paint job would make this little gem shine.
I hope this becomes a follow up project because this car is such a beauty. It’s a shame to leave it partially restored 😢
@thegingerbreadman I was about to look for a follow up but you just saved me some time.
Now that its running, a small car like this can be a full nut and bolt resto in 3 months, there must be plenty of parts cars in Texas or close by,,, a lot of this JDM jap stuff is being restored and new parts are out there and cheap. Steve in Australia
You just don't see many 60s and 70s Japanese cars around. Most folks thought of them as disposable cars, so nobody went out of their way to store them or preserve them like they did many American cars. Glad to see this one get a second lease on life, and I know you guys will bring her back.
One of my favorite all time rides was my li'l Doobie. 1974 Toyota Celica GT 5 spd, with a/c. That car was so fun, so fast, so precise, and maintenance free. That car is the one that got me away from my previous loves and big motors.
This little Celica ST is a worthwhile candidate to restore. Wish you the best in your endeavor.
By far the most satisfying car restoration video that i have ever seen. The commitment to only change what's necessary and the working style, top notch.
That car is very beautiful. I would love to see him completely finished with his paint.
Thank you so much from Australia for sharing this and bringing her back to life, brought back so many wonderful memories of my 1972 TA22, loved that car, will never forget her no matter how many cars i've had after her, i watched you guys right through this with a smile on my face, THANK YOU again GOD BLESS you both, and your families 😊
Toyota es Toyota. Dios los bendiga, buen vídeo.
👍👍👍
Wow....this car brings back a memory of driving a new one in 1977. It belonged to a wonderful neighbor who had just lost her husband and also had a teenage son that had just suffered a massive brain injury as a quarterback on the HS football team. She had just purchased this new car from part of her settlement from her son's injury lawsuit to replace her old 65 chevy malibu. I was 16 years old and I was walking past her house when she stopped her gorgeous new green Celica. She was so excited to finally have a dependable car now so she can get back and forth to her injured son's nursing facility as he re-learns how to speak and walk again. She insisted that I take it for a test drive which surprised me since I was only 16, but I had my own car already so I guess she trusted me. I remember having to run the driver seat all of the way back because I'm tall and she was a small lady. I looked around inside at the dash and how well laid out it looked, also the 5 speed manual gearbox which was butter smooth to shift which made it fun and not a pain like American 3-4 on the floor manuals (just my opinion...). The car also handled so well and the ride was also smooth and quiet with great power breaks. It was August in our state of Arizona so she got A/C on this car. It was a pricey option at around $1100 if memory serves, But it worked really well with plenty of power to keep the little car cool inside. The only thing I didn't care for was how narrow the seats were for my actually narrow butt, but as I tossed the car around on the road through the desert foothills I remained firmly in the seat with no fear of sliding sideways like on my beach seat in my LTD. All in all this was a great car to experience and Mrs Jacobs liked it so much that she bought a new one every 2 years for a long time. Good memory and excellent video as always gentlemen!
Вот это красавцы! Браво респект вам ребята. Точило просто чудо хорошо что забрали на ремонт. Таких ныне нет!
One of the coolest looking foreign cars ever made, and very reliable too. Wish I had it!
Reminds me of my '81 Celica GT I had. Ultra reliable cars!!
For me this is the best car in the world ....I want one!!! Just the way at it is ...perfect!!
I'm amazed how these people find such old parts and get things done. Overall great work 👍
Man, these guys really made it look like a movie... Great video all around👏. Loving watching old/beaten vehicles get some love, even if it's after decades ! ✌
You guys are legends for breathing life back into such an iconic car but that is deserving of a full restoration. Like muscle cars, map 240's and early fords they deserve to stay for another 5 decades
What about the painting?
I hace a Celica 1981, just on sale 5000 dollars,
Is it me but when you poured diesel oil in a petrol engine and using dot 3 fluid instead of dot 4 am I missing something 🙏
I absolutely love this car! I am torn on the no talking bit, but it was a very well edited/shot video! I especially love the scripture quotes. Thank you for this video. You guys make me want to find an old vehicle every one else has given up on and do this. It would take me wayyyy longer than y’all!
What an awesome car. I love the old Celicas. Easy to work on, reliable, and looks like a miniature Cuda.
I had this same Celica a long long time ago. Even had the same color inside and out. Mine had louvers on the back window. Always have missed that car. I loved it. Thank you SO MUCH for bringing one back to life. Would love to see a full restoration on one some day.
These old Celicas were great cars, dang near bulletproof engines and good styling. I haven’t seen one like this in a lot of years 👍
That's the only car I ever had a road-rage incident that involved almost going to jail after a high-speed chase of over 100 mph with smoking front brake pads
After I got where I was going the police arrived and the other guy and my car was sitting there with boiling smoke off the brake pads I had just put on
And the St was a sport touring I like it better
I wonder why it sat starter and major engine components were all working, was it just because of the fuel tank.
The Silent movie episodes are good, but love hearing you both run ideas across each other...
Can't stand these want to be edgey silent vids.
too true. Immediately I noticed the lack of commentary.. for some that works well,.. But so use to your input that the video lacks that extra item!! talk!
Me too, but I like the balance. The sound is good.
@@johnfadin6 Edgy? They just thought theyd try more relaxed silent vids, thats like the opposite of edgy
Лучше так, чем глупая, неуместная музыка, которую каждый "умный" блогер вставляет в каждое своё глупое видео.
Cheers from Southern Ukraine 🖐️😉🤝 Video very, very beautiful ❤❤❤👏😎👍
Gracias por devolverlo a la
vida chicos!!! Me enganché a vuestro canal, sin decir ni una palabra se entiende todo perfectamente!!! Olee Texas!! Un abrazo desde Sevilla, España
Such a beautiful car...❤
How could anyone throw it away...😢
Great to see it's rescued...🎉
I like the original wheels better. Thank you for bring this car back to life, it's a beauty.
You've done another video, maybe two like this in the past. I really do enjoy these. You absolutely have brought this one back from the near dead. Extra nice camera work and editing !!
Rims to SCHOOL! OLD SCHOOL! JDM!
I would give anything in the world to spend my evenings like this with my father in the garage repairing cars.
very well done once again! That yota deserved every bit of love you gave it and it looks great just the way it is!
A very relaxing video. Even though I missed Lance's chatter, I have to admire the combined concentration of everyone to pull this off. Great job of editing on this too!
I had a 1978 Celica wagon with more than 500K miles on it as good as new. A great car over all.
대단 하십니다.

😅😅😅😅😅
my father and my brother had a few of these, 72's I believe... always liked the look of these little gems. Luv that wheel package.
This is one of my favourites revivals that i have watched on Restored. What great patina paintwork she has. Those wide arches look great with those wheels.
Enjoyed that waaaaay more than I thought I would....cinematography and editing were phenomenal! Great job!
Your work and effort is very professional in terms of montage and method of photography. Honestly, they are very creative. The number of subscribers is supposed to be more than a million. In general, good luck 👍🏼
Thank you so much 😀
@@RESTORED-HOPEhi I had posted a question and I'm not even. Sure I'm doing this right lol, but my dad watches all of your episodes and on this Celica episode at the beginning was a Chevy bel air deluxe 2 door hard top he is pretty sure that's what it was anyways lol it wasnt on the screen long it was behind you as you were walking around the Celica in the beginning. My dad wants to know if it's 4 sale, plz lmk tysm Brandi
I loved this silent straight to the chase approach although both of you seemed to have had a big fight prior to the video and now you wouldn’t talk to eachother 😂 but that‘s the point of these, no talking just ASMR wrenching , please more 😍😍😍👍🏻
LOL I was thinkng the same thing
I posted just the same thing before reading posts. Not a fan of this myself.
Hey my friends I watched this episode and I'm blown away on how sweet this car turns out it's my favorite episode and if only I could afford to buy it you guys are awesome be blessed always guys
love this video and the whole restoration ! takes me back to my auto mechanics years in high school where I learn how to fix cars. Thank you
Love a good Celica resto! You guys are amazing
At least they were breathing 😅
O ruim desse vídeo é que ele acaba ❤
Those Hayashi Racing rims and that patina, awesome combo 👌💯🔥
I just wanted to say how great this was to see, brought back lots of memories. My Dad used to own one back in 1977, it was blue with white stripes, white vinyl interior and white vinyl on the back 1/3 of the top. It was quite a car, he loved that stick shift.
I miss the talking, I like knowing what’s going on. My sight is not the best.
Whaou !
Both are silent killer. Working professionally without making noise. I liked the work👍🖐💪
Toyota IS Toyota ...30 years stopped and the engines roar like a lion ... congrats guys, great job !
Car like this doesn't need paint; it is a survivor and wears the scars well. Great job, as always. Keep it up!
I really enjoyed watching this restoration. Good job father and son.
I worked on some mid/late 70's Celicas in the mid 80's...fantastic cars! Great quality.
Bravo les professionnels ❤toyota depuis 1977 et toujours la bon rouprise❤🇩🇿
Congratulations on the Celica . You have created another cat to flip. Thank you Lance, Wyatt and Christian for the great video.
💯👊👍
My dream car in the 80s still is . Glad you got it going and on the road . Thanks
Another beautifully made video. You guys are so inspiring. I personally feel that the 'silent' style is the evolution of this kind of feature. Thank you SO much!
thank you for giving the old girl new life. and reminding me of fond memories of the past.
Well filmed and documented, pure restoration without the usual narrative that normally plague this type of video. Absolutely great no chat, how refreshing 👍
Love the video no talking just getting it done 👍👍👍 super awesome God bless....
I was a Toyota mechanic and worked on these models, incredible vehicles
Gogo and stay alive 1977 Toyota Celica 🚘🚗 yehaa... 👍👍👍👍🌜
The sound of the reving engine and tool drop is pure classic to me
I just watched this... literally there are no 4 people I'd rather listen to in UA-cam videos than you guys and the Gnarly Speed Shop crew...but your silent movies are artwork...God bless.
They don't talk but their works are talking to me. Indeed oddly satisfying and very rare in ytube. Every one loves to talk but not working. I am getting tired of noises. This kind attract me but of course the camera taker too has done a good job. Congratulations to all
Amazing job,boys...!!! Excellent!!! Well done!!! This video is a lesson how did a restore of a car... ❤❤ The only thing who maybe will be doing,is a beautiful painting,at the end... with a nice colour... red or blue... but, never mind, the job is awesome!!!
Wao.. to have rebuilt this Japanese masterpiece after sitting for 30yrs it's extremely amazing. Good work guys . I love classics
that was epic....not a GT but epic. now after showing that celica so much love....repaint it and drive it forever. I still miss my 74' GT.
and my 82'....and my 83'....and my brother's 86'. now I just drive a Sienna....
Una chulada de carro!! Me gustaron mucho los rines...Yo estoy trabajando en un ra29 76 que tengo de hace como 15 años! Carritos muy nobles.
It's the impeccable camera work that got me to pick my phone up and march my compliments and salutations towards the comment section. Great work! Great inspiration! Hats off! ❤🙏🏾
