I like your repurposing.Thats the way I work too. AZ’s frame design looks good, but I’m wary of the way the front arms are attached to the main rail. IMO that’s a live load that should be triangulated ortho to the main rail. That’s what I did after a few thousand miles when I noticed a crack developing next to the weld. Solved the problem in 2017 and been great since.

This is true ingenuity. You learn from doing these things. If you move or modify something, it affects something else. It can be a lot of fun, and you get the pride of doing it yourself. If it needs servicing or repair, you know exactly how to do that too since you put it together.

Great job on the project and thank you for documenting everything especially asking your friend about the front end design! Save me a lot of money I don't have to go by that pre-built front end and weld it on I can just make my own now, thanks again buddy! Subscribed liked 😎

I admire your project and hopping to finishing my project as well, right now I'm stuck on making the spindle from scratch. Hope to see more from you sir. Thank you for the inspiration

To balance the front brakes you connect them together with a single cable, and expose the cable along the center frame. Then have another cable pulling sideways on the exposed one (a metal hook or small pulley over it, not attached). That cable goes to the brake handle. When you pull the handle, the main cable is pulled and as the brake pads engage, they balance.

hi, what would you charge just to build a frame and ship it? been trying to do this myself however tools required are not anything I have at this time nor do I want to invest for a one time use.

I did not build this - a friend did. He does not have the time to build one for sale - he just does these projects for himself. Look around on ebay or aliexpress - you might find one ( or a used trike) there. Hope you find something
