  • This makes two installs completed with the new OG Vacuum solution. This one is in a vertical hose reel setup where the reel is directly above the vacuum instead of on the side. In less than 30 minutes, we had this thing installed.

    Another fine install Mike! I like how the switch is at perfect Matt toe height compared to perfect Matt finger height at Helen house.

    Hey Mike, Great job as always looking forward to the hidden hose install That should be very interesting. you and Matt talked about it in one of the other vacuum videos I think the remote on off for the vacuum would be a killer feature. I don’t know of any, but I’m guessing there are but probably very few vacuums that you could turn on or off from the nozzle end. I’m hoping you guys can dial that in an offer that as a feature that would definitely make me wanna buy one just for that feature alone anyways hope everyone is well at OG. You guys have a great one.

    I guess it's all personal preference, but I really like that white tank/canister instead of the typical black canisters you get with other manufacturers. I think it blends in better. Looks like a very sharp set up! I would love to have one of these set up's in my own garage. I use my vacuum more than any other tool in my garage probably and having a set up like this would be so convenient. Looking forward to the options available as a package with everything I would need to do an install.

    Should have put a switch at the upper junction box so you don't have to bend down to flip on the vacuum.

    Super clean install as always Mike. But isn't the cannister a bit close to the reel? Looks like its going to be difficult to empty/replace the bag.

  • @Brodesky
    @Brodesky Рік тому +2

    Stupid question, but how does the canister open? Not a whole lot of clearance above or below the tank. Does the canister need to be removed from the wall each time to empty it out?

      There is a simple lid that sits on top. Then there is a bag inside.

      @@CrispusAttucks2315 It's the same components it's just mounted on the wall differently. The hose reel is in the way of the vacuum lid in my opinion and I prefer left to right. Hence the power switch and vacuum mounted on the wall to the left of the hose reel.

      Premium products come with premium prices. Can't afford it at one time? Finance it or buy it in pieces until you have a complete system. Still not an option? Make due with not so premium pieces. Plenty of folks wall mount ridgid vacuums and cheaper reels/hoses, they look just as cool and still perform well.
