The Fein vacuum's, specifically the accessories are my favourite. Store some, if not all of them on the machine, in integrated, solid holders. The elbow and anti static coupler/hose are a god send for anyone doing extended use. Their smaller 1 3/8" hose was a lot lighter and less bulky than others 1 1/2", something to consider ? Take the loss on flow for a more ergonomic approach. Ideally this OG kit comes with some sort of accessory organizer that hangs on the wall or off the vacuum itself. Once you remove that crevice tool its lost forever if it doesn't have a home.
Thats probably the coolest thing you sell. Looks fantastic on the wall. Performance looks good. Very cool.

This is pretty neat! I just snagged an Ovo (Scratch-n-Dent) for a steal. It usess thru motor too :( but when it dies, I'm likely going to just swap in a bypass motor. I plan to exhaust mine outside too.
For those of us with the typical smooth concrete garage floor that isn’t perfectly clean I think the flex vacuum is a better fit. Less potential to drag dirt from the concrete into the car via the hose.
Milwaukee makes a remote switch (intended for dust control) that just plugs into the wall and you control it with a small remote that you can drop in your pocket or wear on your belt. Might be a viable option for anyone that wants a remote.
For remote, Festools Bluetooth is darn handy and small. I know that is proprietary but I doubt patented. I have a car care miele kit with small detail vacuum hose for hooking to hose end, works well for consoles, buttons and screens. Not sure if made still though.
I bet Brice is really enjoying this day...the boss is cleaning his car. LOL This video needed some B-roll of Brice eating a greasy burger and chips in the car laughing with an evil laugh. 🤣
What are the dimensions on width and height with tubes and handle for reel? I am planning on purchasing one but still have some electrical to set up in my garage.
Would be interesting to see if reducing suction power could make the experience, especially on carpets, easier not to stress as much the arm and shoulder making it more easy to brush the carpets without decreasing as much the effectiveness of the cleaning and let the attachment do his job. At the end our cars interior are not a disaster, for regular cleaning i thing using less power could be more comfortable. Only speculation of course, I’ve never use yet the OG Vacuum.
Another model would be nice which has a bottom opening to easily dump out when installed in higher locations. I don't want to get a ladder to empty the bag.
It's dumb to say, but this thing changed my life. The suction is almost too loud inside the cabin, a good problem I suppose... I ordered the Obsessed Garage logo vinyl in favor of the larger supplied sticker and the hex vinyl for the lid. It's legit.
Are the attachments non-marking? I've got a crevice tool that marks on light colored leather. The marks don't show on blacks, but do on lighter colors.
I guess I need to order this thing already. I’ve been holding off hoping you’d come out with a dedicated 20amp version for those of us who want more suction. Also I noticed Lutron makes a smart outlet that allows it to be turned off from a pico remote any chance that would work with this ? I currently use a cheap outlet remote for my vacuum so I’m not running back and forth but would love to get a Lutron solution.
Matt, any idea where I could find a 45* crevice tool? Watching the detail geek, looks like he doesn’t have to hustle the hose around as much. Asked TDG where he got his but didn’t get a response. Tried making my own, epic failure.
It's launched already and a couple of solutions are still in stock; other units are still on RYS while we wait on more stock as our manufacturer for them is moving factories. Goal is to get them well before Black Friday.
@@OGDrewMDoes the vaccum come with the Matt black label on it? What spray paint was used to paint the pipes? In another video the electrician mentioned that they have a black side mount muffler instead of the large white box muffler. Are those available to get as replacements or do they now ship with the muffler.
23 min on a Sun watching a vacuum vid. Hi group I’m Jim and I have an obsession….. Thanks Matt!
Sounds like the start of alcoholics anonymous 😂
Would love to see a comparison with the metrovac super vac and blaster
Love the simplistic look with max vac power! Sign me up for one along with a Kranzle setup to complete my garage.

First thing Saturday morning. This pops up. Looks interesting.
It's so good!

Will there be a wet/dry version? Might be nice with an extractor. Maybe have a seperate container with wheels where the water drains.

Stock it already!! Also, not to be used as a wet vac, but a little moisture shouldnt be an issue correct?
A vacuum like this should have a blower option.

If you don't have a bag, you have inferior suction and filtration. You want a bag. You'll empty that bag like once a year.

I haven’t noticed any marks.

It works great, I've got mine on the Caseta smart switch and use my phone to turn it on/off, could use a Pico too.
if it had a blower option, I would buy it right away, idea for v 2.0
Hi… use a heat shrinking rubber tubing as a sleeve for the vacuum hose…rendering the hose ribbed texture virtually invisible..

I swear I’m gonna go broke if these videos keep being made 😂.
Which spray paint did Mike use on the piping?

Must... have...
Would this be possible to mount to the side of the levrack system?
I'm sure something could be figured out, either using the supplied bracket or something custom. Good idea.
@@ObsessedGarage Awesome! I might be the test study. Plan on purchasing both this black Friday.
I prefer the canister than the Bags just another expense not needed !!
Bags almost always offer better performance and easier clean up. I think I may spend $50 on bags over the next 5 years, so the expense is negligible.
@@ObsessedGarage as long as a vacuum gets the job done is what should concern anyone !
👍
pretty much like vacumaid garage vac only more expensive
All canister vacuums are similar in design. This is quite a bit different in performance and sound.

$600 for a mounted vacuum and $200 for the accessories?
Wtf
Yes
