December 25, 2012. I was 5 years old when I got my 360. The greatest console I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing on. I had no Xbox live gold, but I didn’t need it. Playing skate 3 and NBA 2k11 was amazing. My best friend had an Xbox one at the time, so you would expect me to be jealous, but I couldn’t have cared less. In 2017, I got an Xbox One S. On that amazing, yet fateful, day me and my dad went to GameStop and traded in my Xbox 360. I will never forget this console. Thank you Xbox 360 and I’m sorry I never noticed how lucky I was.
I want to cry hearing this. It’s so nostalgic and brings back so many memories. Life was so simple back then. Still one of the greatest consoles of its time and even ever
Nothing for me gaming wise will be as cool as these 360 days. So many great games, the dashboards were so cool, and being able to make an avatar and include them in some games was amazing. I’ll forever miss those Red Dead Redemption, Gears of War 3, & Black Ops one days with all my old 360 friends who don’t get on anymore
as I was listening to this and thinking about how much has changed in my life since I regularly heard this song, I remembered a little detail: in one of the minigames in kinect party, my cats kept getting "frozen" for a long time while sitting on the couch and then when they moved a little the ice would dramatically shatter. they've been dead for ten years now, but I hope I never forget Gizmo and Tipper.

We may not all be kids playing Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition anymore, we may not all be teenagers playing MW2, and we're certainly beyond playing Kinectimals. BUT somehow I don't think we're beyond just chilling to this gentle vibe.
Personally, I was a Nintendo kid, but my dad used to play Xbox 360 and I used to watch him play, so I do have quite fond memories of this console even if it was vicarious.
I'm so glad there are people out there in this Xbox 360 community who aren't 12 year olds who play Fortnite everyday. Here are some games I remember from the 360: Castle Crashers, need for speed hot pursuit, Doritos crash course, Minecraft Xbox 360 edition, skate 3 and cod black ops 1. Thank you all for keeping the 360 part of Xbox alive! And thank you (whoever posted this video) for posting this nostalgic piece of music.
This music makes remember all those times bringing my Xbox so me and my friends could play Minecraft or Black Ops. Opening the avatar editor and seeing them run across the screen, looking for the coolest person to start off editing with. This is pure memories here.
Listening to this when editing my character right before booting up Call of Duty 4 and joining my friends party. God dude, it fills up my nostalgia meter to damn near the max. That 2007-2012 time period was a great time to be a teenager.
I’m messing around with my Xbox 360 now, this song made the memories I had messing around with the little character come flooding back to me. I hope new generations that go back to the Xbox 360 for “old school” reasons have as much of a blast as we did growing up.
I have a memory of a snow day where my friend and I didn't have school, we went sledding, had some fun outside, then came back inside and spent like an hour customizing our avatars and that was the first time I heard this music.
So, Im just sitting in my chair watching the daily 2020 chaos unfold in the news when this tune pops in my head, I think it might be an old minecraft music thing that was long ago removed. Then I start thinking about playing Minecraft on the 360, then I get slapped in the face with realization and nostalgia so now I'm sitting writing this, good day.
Except me my Xbox 360 broke when I was very young I think 4 and it got the red ring of death my dad had a warranty then that one broke I was to young to remember but my dad told me about it
I'm a PC gamer now, but I'll never forget the good old days of console gaming. Back when the console wars meant something. Back when trash talking online was ubiquitous. And yet despite all that, we were happier and friendlier people than we are now. Funny how that works out, eh? I miss the past. I'd gladly trade all my worldly possessions and modern amenities to turn back time. I feel like such a fool for wishing my childhood would end faster. Adulting sucks.
I went to a daycare when I was about 8-11 years old, and they had an Xbox 360 Slim (I think), and the other kids at the gym would huddle around me whenever I played the Xbox. My favorite part was customizing the avatars because we would make the stupidest ones and then laugh at them for an absurd amount of time. Shit was good back then.
i was 13 since 2 weeks, i had lost any hope of getting any gift since some days before. My mom took me out, we drived a long while since we got to an nice small house far from where we lived, an tall man sold us the xbox 360. I was excited, nervous and a little afraid of the xbox breaking before we got home. I remember that some people were at home as it were january, i played the ammount of games this console had, an demo of dead space 3, original wolfenstein, banjo kazooie and not much more, maybe cod ghosts or tomb rider. I got along with excitement till the 4 am showed, then since the 12 am until i had to come down, i didn't had so many friends, but this console made me ignore a lot as i grow, focus on the nice things like an nice console that my mother wanted me to have, is an welcoming remember i get sometimes, now that i listen to this, i remember the first turn on "beep" that this friend of mine said during years, i should fix it.
Damn. Reading all the comments makes me nostalgic even though I never had gold while playing the 360. I was always alone unless I was playing with my sister or cousins lol

So much love was put into the Xbox Original Avatars 🥲 The music, easter eggs/tricks/animations, etc.
Man these characters were soooo iconic. So far Nintendo and Xbox created iconic avatars, now its Playstation’s turn
Oh and by the way, 360 avatars are way better than Xbox One
@@Rickby yep I still play on the 360
Personally, I was a Nintendo kid, but my dad used to play Xbox 360 and I used to watch him play, so I do have quite fond memories of this console even if it was vicarious.
I will never forget this song and the memories it carried with it.
POV: it’s 2021. You miss the old days. The good days. Rip to the avatars that will never wake up again 😕😔
Im sad about that now, they are forever asleep never to be played again, dusting away in the attic
I play with my avatar
POV: It's the end of july 2024 and you remember the xbox 360 marketplace
Goodbye my old friend 💔
It’s been eleven years and we’re pretty nostalgic about this
Good Soup 👌
Coming back here in 2021 makes me cry when I hear this
Back then When your avatar did a move set when it played a special Part in the song. Oh Man The Nostalgia is killing me
I need a 10 hour loop of this! It's so calming/relaxing, and would be perfect sleep (or study for students) track!
Fun Fact: This Video was uploaded on the same day Minecraft came to Xbox 360 (May 9, 2012) this means ultra nostalgic, does anyone here realise this
This music makes remember all those times bringing my Xbox so me and my friends could play Minecraft or Black Ops. Opening the avatar editor and seeing them run across the screen, looking for the coolest person to start off editing with. This is pure memories here.
Fuck bro I’m 19, I’ve been playing the Xbox since I was 4. This music used to be on 24/7
When you see a friends avatar go to sleep for the last time: "Rest now friend. I'll catch up with you eventually."
Listening to this when editing my character right before booting up Call of Duty 4 and joining my friends party. God dude, it fills up my nostalgia meter to damn near the max. That 2007-2012 time period was a great time to be a teenager.
Man i miss the old gaming era
No trashtalk
No life problems
Just little kids enjoying their time on the 360
I still have the Xbox 360 and I love this song it's so calming.
Same here
Man I miss this 😢 I now have a Xbox one s. 2:59 This part reminds me of me and my brother looking at the avatar store
Same 😔😭
9 años pasaron desde que deje mi 360 y me da mucha felizidad recordar los buenos momentos que pase jugando en la 360
tu futo del gran juan carlos
bodoque 🎉
I’m messing around with my Xbox 360 now, this song made the memories I had messing around with the little character come flooding back to me. I hope new generations that go back to the Xbox 360 for “old school” reasons have as much of a blast as we did growing up.
I have a memory of a snow day where my friend and I didn't have school, we went sledding, had some fun outside, then came back inside and spent like an hour customizing our avatars and that was the first time I heard this music.
Someone said in 10 years this would be nostalgia. It’s December 30th, 2022 and we’re one year away from that continuing to be true!
i sheded a few tears now but 20 years from now and i listen to this ima be sobbing
Same
We all will be, my friend… we all will be.
This song is actually very well composed. And the nostalgia makes it even better
My childhood... I still remember unboxing this console for christmas when I was little... How time flies, eh?
The hours of scrolling through the avatar editor to make the perfect avatar while this banger was on...
Gee I feel like basically what most of you are commenting, this music brings back good memories :-)
Except me my Xbox 360 broke when I was very young I think 4 and it got the red ring of death my dad had a warranty then that one broke I was to young to remember but my dad told me about it
of course!
Red ring is the scariest and saddest thing to happen back then. R.I.P.
So many good memories. Love the 360 !!!!
Welcome to xbox heaven! Where you can live through those nostalgic days! Wake up those profiles and start gaming! Enjoy your time here...
Halo reach, black ops , bad company 2, gears 3, battlefield 3, ahhh the memories.
That extra hair colors trick is still funny to me.
I'll never be young again, but I sure as hell can cry when I hear music that reminds me of when I was
nice. I remember spending hours looking at everything you can get for your avatar with the games you had. Great times.
May the avatars i made rest peacefully
They're still waiting...
I'll miss Xbox 360 avatar song reminds me a lot of my past
Damn its been so long and it feels so good to hear this again and after its been 20 or 30 years it gonna be even better
i was 13 since 2 weeks, i had lost any hope of getting any gift since some days before. I got along with excitement till the 4 am showed, then since the 12 am until i had to come down, i didn't had so many friends, but this console made me ignore a lot as i grow, focus on the nice things like an nice console that my mother wanted me to have, is an welcoming remember i get sometimes, now that i listen to this, i remember the first turn on "beep" that this friend of mine said during years, i should fix it.
currently it’s 2020. 8 years ago a sad to think about time is now missing and hope we never forget about it
Damn. Reading all the comments makes me nostalgic even though I never had gold while playing the 360. I was always alone unless I was playing with my sister or cousins lol
lmao same, I'd be playing Lego batman by myself probably no knowing what I'm doing at all😭
