@@boringdadgaming Yeah and the upradged one always hit first for every attack. I can recommend also Silence of the Siren game! Its similar to Heroes 3-4 but SCIFI! Hune 10 there will be a new Steam demo about is where we can test Orbital may be space layer of the map! And there will be underground layer later too, Its quite great! Early Access soon will come i think near end of Summer or September. With Hot seat mode. They said with 10 maps, 3 factions and orbital layer, 1 campaign etc We played hot seat online (With Teamviewer) with it its great!

also the reason why the dreaths did more damage to you, is that they retaliate before you attack, instead of after you attack, its their ability!
some units also have unlimited retaliations,
Ah, good to know! I thought I'd made a mistake moving to a tile before attacking
@@boringdadgaming nope all good there, tho all monsters have attack of opportunity, so if you are in close combat with them and move out, they will get to hit you a little, some unit has that they ignore it,

I was actually hoping this would be a battle brothers type, as I've never played HoMM, but the pixel art is so good, I'll watch and see if it's for me

sometime it worth using low count unit to block/waste an enemy attack. Ex. Losing 1 bird> losing 10 frog
