Showed the last episode to my partner thinking he might enjoy it. He pointed out that the puzzles are very Zelda-y! I didn’t think about that, but it helps categorize this cool game to me.

Oh! Just when I set aside an evening to binge the rest of this series! Lol. Well, it was a good story, and a mesmerising environment. As far as connecting-the-dots goes, I'm at a loss, and appreciate hearing your take on it. Well, not at an _absolute_ loss - but I wouldn't know where to begin 😅 I feel like they could have expanded the game; allowed the player to dig deeper? But, it's amazing for what it is!

Eris wants to "break" him. The first time she tried, she revealed Rubys true intensions and told him Celeste wouldnt love him. It failed because Celeste was already too close to him to made that work. So i assume it has something to do with her. Reveal a terrible secret maybe. My theory is that she could have killed Pierce because she thought he killed Tyrion? Someone using the "feign death" spell on him? (Unlikly but i would really love that drama^^).

I hesitate to guess where the story is heading, honestly. I'm trapped in the hellish idea of the mind bank, and whether they're deteriorating in there. Yikes!

Well, it looks like my guess about Aster is disproved? Even though it's suspicious, he cast that firebolt at the glyph. Unless he never made a pact directly, and he just benefits from Aria's. I feel like Eris is just trying to get Tyrion to dispute a blood contract so she can get his soul. I guess I will have to wait and see!

I think the game currently has a bug. The right to left and left to right motions/input is busted. Edit: Furthermore, the Comte's portrait isn't always in the correct spot.

Is it possible that Pierce's murder does not match with the others because Celeste was the one who killed him? I dont't want it to be true but... She had time to do it and he was killed the same way her father was? Maybe she did that in revenge or maybe he told her who her real parents were and she did not wanted anyone else to know so she killed him? I don't know, maybe thats stupid but just a wild thought i got...

Oh no.. I have a bad feeling about Aster. I didn't realize how closely the patron was controlling Aria, but she was reacting to everything as it happened. So why did she only use polymorph on the younger prince? Why the non-lethal attack on Aster except to give him an alibi and pull people away from the intended targets? If Celeste is part dragon, she would rival Aster for power. Aria had just signed her blood, I mean, marriage contract. I really liked Aster. 😢 I hope I'm wrong on this.

Orym White has really grown on me. Also the Rathallion reveal was very fun 😊

If I remember correctly there was some kind of mark on headmaster desk at the end of the second trial 🤔 I think there was some kind of hint that he commited the murder because of it or something like that. I wonder if it was this purple mark that we found with Aria here.

I'm really enjoying this one so far! The tone of it is so unique, futuristic and old timey? Definitely a visual treat too, looking forward to watching the rest

Hmm, do you think Pierce was trying to strike up a deal with Marrunath to trade info on Celeste for his freedom? I feel like maybe the demons freed him from prison by killing him. But that would hint that the Archduke may be Celeste's father? So many questions.. like what animal was the prince turned into?

I've been absolutely enthralled with this playthrough so far. This is the type of game I could fall in love with. It just occurred to me that I haven't commented on it yet 😅 But anyway, what a great choice! I can't wait to see how this story unfolds and what the answers to the mystery are.

People, this game, looks like it has multiple endings... we just saw one

i ask myself if seeas near death experiences will now cease to come by. maybe it was st. seattle all allong putting pressure on seeas mind to seduce her in the end. conspiracyyyyyyy.

I put off buying the first one until it went on sale for $5 last week. While it may not be for everyone, for those of us who it's meant for, it was absolutely amazing! The music, the sim speak-like voices, and the story were woven together so beautifully. I can't believe how much emotion I felt playing through, that still lingers after completing it. It almost feels like a previous life where I have regrets, question my choices, and miss my royal family. It very much reminded me of The Last Kingdom and Game of Thrones (early seasons) and had a few traumatic wtf moments that nearly had me in tears. I will not be waiting for Snowfall to go on sale as I did the first game. As long as the price is reasonable, I'll be buying it as soon as it releases. I'm excited about the upgraded graphics while still maintaining the retro look. Even moreso, I love that it is a continuing story of the first game. I look forward to seeing my royal family again.

Your conclusion certainly seems the simplest, because James' leaps of logic didn't really make sense, though I also like grametry's thoughts as well: if there’s a word where your conciousness can be transferred body to body, why not a collective conciousness being born and rebelling against what the human mind hadn't been made for. It was a well-built universe. I like the genre mix; it's what drew me to watch the series to begin with. And poor James...always trying to get to paradise with Rachel and never able to get there...

My biggest confusion with this story is... why didn't they just grow clones of themselves? Sure it would take time to get back to you preferred age, but it would be YOUR body... and one without memories to mess with synchronization also no orphans or innocent civilians getting there's "confiscated". I still think the "stranger" is the Ichorite itself. Emergent conscious spawned from the the amalgam of human consciousness'... like a mycelium network. There definitely has to be some sort of wireless connection through the ichorite otherwise how would the "stranger" body swap without a machine? Simply knowing the composition or synchronicity (whatever you want to call it) of someone mind wouldn't allow you to take control of it unless you had control of the Ichorite itself. I COULD see how that would allow you to use the ichorite to insert "programs" of a sort, but not "wirelessly". It would have to been when the ichorite was implanted in the first place.

I feel like The "stranger" is the mind bank, like emergent AI. The more desynced you get the more of a grip the Ichor has on you. So it was like the ghosts of the dead coming back to kill their immortal murderers.

Well I didn't like that ending one bit lol (the universe was interesting though) I appreciate you taking the time to explain everything post-credits because I was definitely at a bit of a loss there 😅

Also, the game company is based in Canada so probably not the English version of pants 😆

I'm going to be sad when this game is over. The characterization is really well done and I feel like I've come to know these characters quite well. In terms of the mystery, there were plenty of breadcrumbs that suggest Beatrice was forced to do it due to her not fulfilling her contract. She has the ability to use an illusion spell to make herself look like Steelwind, But she did not have her familiar with her to compensate for her blindness. That also doesn't wrap up the mystery of Celeste family and who the letter was sent to. It sure seems like whoever is behind this is trying to knock out the pillar families.
