Man Andy lookin' SICK!! Agree with you! Andy needs some development storywise for God's sake. Massively underrated, and he has so much potential. Where the heck is Shadow Andy for example? With the return of Geese since XIV, that would be a great opportunity to bring his darker personality back to pursue his revenge against him. That would help to detach him from Terry and allow him to have new relationships (new team in the future), and also new in-game moves (more violence/flashiness to reflect his change in personality). Show his struggle to contain it, being Geese on one side, and Terry (his only family left), Mai (the woman he loves) and also his friends being the counterpoint. A fresh take on him. Someone get this to SNK, please.

Partly is SNK's fault also, not working better his storyline. Hoping someone see my suggestion and do something to at least make SNK realize his potential as character. It has been 25+ years man...
For all of Andy's faults he is my favorite character in this game by far. I really enjoy his movement options and ability to cancel my heavy elbow. Also 2c is a good button it seems to have a lot of active frames.

Dont agree about zaneiken. It’s pretty safe on block(especially lp version) meaning the opponent can’t really punish you and you can always roll back or backdash to get back into position or you can contest with his hp shoryudan or shatter strike attack if the opponent likes to mash buttons after blocking zaneiken.
Zaniken work better in combo and bait the opponent into attacking which is why he is negative on block in most situation even with his other moves, but This does mean he is always punishable because his speed and mix ups making him a hard read. The speed and mix ups is his strength accompany with some patience. Andy can cut through your whole team with ease. He has some hard nerf in xv compared to xiv, but overall I think he is better in this game just require hard work. His mix up potential is one of the best in the game.
If Andy had an aereal attack, like some kind of fireball, he'd be unstoppable 😎
