His Bafta presenting kilt was the inspiration for me to give up finding a clan tartan I liked enough for my first kilt as a newly out trans Scotsman. I saw him looking so incredibly interestingly stylish and realised that a monochrome kilt was the way to go. Thank you, David, for that and a whole bunch else.

The brown pinstripe suit jacket is made from trousers! No fucking wonder i can't complete my cosplay! The jacket doesn't exist! I found a pair of what looks to be the exact brown with blue pinstripe trousers in a charity shop in York 2 years ago, like 80% sure it was the exact ones, and I had to hem them shorter to fit me. Now It's been bugging the pants off me that no matter what I do, i can't seemed to find the matching top! No fucking wonder! Got everything else tho.
Weird bit for me to get caught up on out of this whole interview, I know.
