- For a couple of years now, I've been doing lives on my page discussing our highs and lows with my community. A high is something positive that has happened in your life and a low is something you are struggling with. After a few months of building my little studio, I finally made a decision to make it into a show. I noticed doors are closing everywhere, mental health is declining and our society is experiencing a very very difficult time. I'm making this space for myself because some doors are closing for me as well and my own mental health is struggling. Im making this for me to discuss what matters to me the most. In this episode, I highlight the topic of being grounded through an interview I did with artist Miguel. I also discuss COVID and returning to school. What are your highs and lows of the week? Hi Jorge, loved the episode! My daughter is the same age as Eliana, and I'm conflicted about school as well. I know the social aspect is important for mental health, but don't want to send her into harm's way, obviously. I've just been watching how things unfold each day, but we're down to the wire now. It's unnerving. Love you all, stay well.

HI JORGE MY HIGH FOR THIS WEEK IS THAT MY 54th BIRTHDAY IS THIS SATURDAY SO I AM EXCITED ABOUT THAT. NOW MY LOW IS THAT A FEW DAYS AGO ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS IS ON HER MONTHLY { I KNOW IT'S PERSONAL AND TOO MUCH INFO HOWEVER I AM SHARING IT WITH YOU DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE 2 DAUGHTERS ALEXA AND ELIANA } SO FRIDAY MORNING MY DAUGHTER FAINTED AND WAS DRIVEN TO SEE HER DR BY A FRIEND SHE LIVES WITH. WHILE AT HER DR VISIT THEY DREW HER BLOOD AND THEY CAME TO FIND OUT MY DAUGHTER IN HER DR'S WORDS IS " DANGEROUSLY ANEMIC " WHO THEN HAD HER TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET A BLOOD TRANSFUSION. NEXT THING I KNOW MY OTHER DAUGHTER TEXTED ME FROM WORK TO TELL ME HER SISTER WAS GOING TO HAVE SURGERY AND I WAS LIKE WOAH!! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!! IT SEEMED LIKE IF THE WORLD WAS SPINNING TOO FAST ALL OF A SUDDEN. IT WAS A MINOR SURGERY THAT LASTED NO MORE THEN 10-15 OR SO. MY DAUGHTER GOT DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL NOW WE'RE WAITING FOR THE TEST RESULTS. THE DR SAID HER CONCERN WAS IF IT WAS GOING TO SHOW THAT THE TISSUE IS CANCEROUS. I AM PRAYING THAT THE TEST COME BACK CLEAR AND I ASKED OTHER'S TO KEEP MY DAUGHTER IN PRAYER AS WELL. OH B4 I FORGET I HAVE AN ALEXA I KEEP IT RIGHT HERE BY MY HOME COMPUTER SO WHEN YOU WERE TALKING AND YOU MENTIONED YOUR DAUGHTER ALEXA MY ALEXA TURNED ON THAT MADE ME LAUGH. LOL ANYWAYS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAVE A BLESSED WEEK. MUCH LOVE ANGIE VARELA ❤️
