Hey realitychangers! I know I know, my kids are getting bigger and I cant stop the process :(. It's heartbreaking y'all, to see them grow without me but its one of the most amazing processes to witness. But I have an answer to this growth I'm witnessing. Part of my role as a father is to create dialogue with them regarding their state of mind as they grow so I decided to do a video of them sharing these thoughts with me in order to hear where they are. The thing I love the most is how understanding and accepting you are with Eliana's introversion. You don't seem to force your own ideas of who someone should be onto her. That's so cool.
OMG HOW OLD ARE THEY NOW?! I still remember when Alexa was tiny and would sing with you and Eli with the "I'LL TAKE A NAP HERE" XD. Time flies so fast. By the way, I love this video. This is so crucial for general relationships, communicating with anyone, not only for parents with their children.

I which my dad had been so empathetic when I was growing up. It’s really heartwarming to see and what an awesome family you have. It also touched a nerve because I had a spinal cord injury in January 2020, just as Covid pandemic started. Initially I was totally paralysed, but now I can walk with a frame - but still have lots of other issues. It has certainly ‘reset’ my life along with world events. People have said they couldn’t cope in my position and one guy even said he would kill himself in my situation. However, you just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and look for the positives in life. It’s a tough journey to acceptance of disability and often have to fight to get what you need but got to keep going.
Hi jorge, you might not read this comment but I just wanted to thank you. I was going through a very rough time back in 2016 and found momentary peace by watching your videos and they really helped me tide through that period. Admittedly I havent been watching your videos after then but when youtube recommended me this after so long, i just needed to thank you for all the videos you have put out. Seeing your daughters all grown up does make me feel old as well and I am very happy to see that they have all grown to fine ladies. Keep it up jorge 🙂

Hi! I went to San Diego on thanksgiving it was beautiful weather and saw you at Best Buy on Black Friday couldn’t believe it was you I was so caught off guard I stood in shock. I’m from a small town and I was really shy to say hi lol but seeing you was a highlight of my trip
Great video! It’s good to bring awareness that kids/teens also go though anxiety and stress. And it’s good to create a safe space for them to express their emotions and thoughts!

Time flies so fast, i still remember when Alexa and Eliana were little and very cute, that time they were both swimming on the beach and Eliana was so cute crying that time😂. But now they both have grown up huhu
Jorge, i can see that all those open conversations you've had with them since they were young, how you allowed them to express themselves and their opinions of things, how you made them understand what's ok and not ok to say... i can see the result of it now.

I love these chats you do with the girls, and it’s so interesting to see how very different they are from one another. Eli reminds me a lot of my soon to be 13 year old - she is very introverted and can’t do crowds or loud noises, her grades are impeccable and she is so smart, but she has recently started making bad choices despite having open communication and therapy. I’m lost on how to get her back on track.

Meet her where she’s at. Let her guide you and trust her. Practice your active and reflective listening skills around her

Eli, I just want to say that's ok if you feel that way too. crowds aren't my favorites as well. being the center of attention surely isn't too. but as long as you know and acknowledge those opinions even just within yourself, meaning you know that you have a say on things you just dont know how to express them, i think you are doing a great job. being an introvert doesn't mean you isolate yourself from the rest of the world, it just means these people get the most of their energy and appreciate everything when they are by themselves.

Jorge, i am a Brazilian girl with only 24 years old and since you post the video singing “Home” with Alexa (a long long time ago) I keep watching and growing with you guys. I always get emotional when I see how the girls are growing so fast (so am I). Im studying to became a children psychologist and I always learn from you how important is it to let children express themselves and teach them that feelings are always valid.
