Lol. At first I thought that too! I was like whaaaaaat the F@*^%%! Lol. I’ve built a couple 289’s that blip even faster and am currently building another that will push about 11-11.5 and I hope the 13.8:1comp don’t split the block. Through my trials and oops, I found that the older blocks have more heart. I think they have a higher nickel content and feel that the added heat cycles strengthen their constitution.
Seriously, one of the absolute greatest sounds in my lifetime is a highly tuned AMERICAN V8. N-O-T-H-I-N-G comes close to it engine wise. A tuned inline 4 of the old Kawasaki KZ is gorgeous but this is another level. The crackle of the exhaust and the downshift and those 8 pistons burning race fuel and pumping out horse power....... My God.....it's pure sex.... The 6 down votes probably drive a prius.
@@KyleSVT It's off the charts. I can't tell what sounds more ridiculous, when you come off the throttle or when you rev match, or when you just plain gun it!
It sounds so healthy and crisp! Those rev matches are what get me. Beautiful sound! Good shit man, good shit. I’m trying to figure out how to record it and make it my ring tone lol
Teach me sensei. I did a 2000 cobra r replica out a 2002 v6 Stang. Couldn't get a 5.4 cheap enough and in good condition so I did a 460ci lol. Built suspension. I sold her last year but got to play around on the track. Not quite enough experience for the amount of power it out out.
Watching this in preparation for driving my 2018 Mustang GT PP1 with 800hp here this spring. I want to know this track as well as possible before even taking a slow lap around it. Don't plan on racing anyone, just a fun day of driving without killing myself.

Was the 450hp at the wheels or flywheel? I’m building almost the exact same motor as the d347sr except with a cast crank, Vic jr heads with slightly larger valves, real Edelbrock Vic jr intake (not the ford one) with port fuel injection (47 lbs), and I’d like to know if running the f303 camshaft from the crate engine would be enough hp to the wheels or if I’ll need one with more rpms
Ryan Jamieson more like a $8500+ motor (still not done yet 😭) and I already have the f cam which is exactly what they use in their track crate engines but I’m looking at one for 7k rpms so I can squeeze a bit more outta my heads, intake, and injectors

Those downshift blips though omfg, makes me wanna get rid of my girlfriend and everything I own for it lol
Just play this over and over 😆
Those cams ,trans and rear end gears are perfect always in the power band 👌🏻
Those shifts have such a snap to them it's just gorgeous

I’m gonna be totally honest this is the best sounding car I’ve ever heard

KyleSVT copy that will do. Also did you get the 347 short block? If so, what heads and cam are you running?
It's my buddy's car and I'm pretty sure its a stock ford racing engine
I've got the full Full Tilt Boogie set up on my IRS, worth every penny! Maximum Motor Sports Up front 😁 now about that Tek Block...

I really need this is my life

It’s so weird hearing push rod v8 exhaust noises in a new edge
All muscle baby!!! Cube Vs. Cube American muscle wins. With all being even. Corvette be like "damn, this Mustang quick".
What camera/mic setup is this?!?! It captures it all beautifully!
Gopro and an external mic
kyle any run down of whats done to the car if the owner was willing to tell you?
It started its life as a race car so its basically a car with mustang body panels on it lol
Engine is a 347 Ford Racing Boss engine. 450hp 430tq. Car weighs 3000lb wet with driver.
so basically a stroked out 5.0? thats good shit i'd love to do this to a new edge

im not sure. Yea that engine is incredible
