Indeed, they constantly whine about their lot but most can afford to retire early on gold-plated pensions they'll receive for life. In actual fact UK health workers are the 5th best paid in the world. NHS - what more money for woke middle managers? More diversity managers! NHS needs reforming. Every1 has said throwing more at NHS is not what is needed. Reform and change, less waste..
That's right, as head of state his first objective is the welfare of his subjects. If he's not watching our backs what's the point of him (or his clan)

I have just moved to another town in the North of England and tried to register with a GP. I am told by the receptionist that I have to wait for a telephone call to let me know if I am accepted due to the backlog of applications. I went to another GP Surgery and told the same by the receptionist. Still no phone call 3 weeks later 🤔
NI con from the employer, means most councils will just pass on the cost with higher council tax, just to pay for the NI con. Every big company that employs full time workers need to find 500-600 pounds for each employee, means no pay rise and costs passed onto the consumer. The NHS now has to ask for extra funds just to pay for the NI con. I heard also some government department will get less funding next year that means job losses.
They’re going after pensioners and especially pensioners on attendance allowance (AA). However AA isn’t means tested, it literally is for pensioners with health problems to pay for taxis, gardener, cleaner, optician, ears syringed, physio therapy etc. Robbing Peter to pay Paul here - totally defeating what the AA is for. Going through our bank accounts is shame and disgrace
You could put trillions into the NHS and it still wouldn't be enough. The amount of waste on general stuff is disgusting, they could clear backlogs if a lot of staff actually worked a full day they are paid for. Plus at bands 7 + there are so many non clinical staff who are incompetent at their jobs, who seem to drift into promotion being in the right place at the right time, who knows who with very little experience to lead! Staff who are incompetent seem to have the knack to stay and get promoted. You could save millions without trying, get rid of incompetent staff, get the service audited by non government departments, get management with a backbone and proper experience and get rid of all the 'meetings' managers seem to be in day in day out and still not achieve anything. Simple, millions saved and a more efficient service and no need for £40 billion.
For the many, not the 6% privately educated. Tax and spend on people that need it. Let’s increase inheritance tax to 100%. This labour government is here to stay! 👏🏻 well done Rachel

Can’t she see how condescending it is to keep pointing out she’s the first female chancellor? It’s in the same class as affirmative action and DEI. Not good enough on your own merit.
This budget didn't target the wealthy , it targeted the average employee worker - lower stamp duty allowance removed, freeze on personal tax thresholds and the really big one IHT allowance frozen for another 2 years and pensions now in IHT, plus another big one increased NI for employers will lead to reduced wage growth and redundancies - a grotesque budget.
For growth, the BoE should halve the interest rates to 2.5%. Post-Pandemic, they should never have risen above 2.5%, as their effect on the inflation we've experienced has been precisely zero!! The banks have been making record profits from hardworking families and businesses, who have already been suffering from a doubling of energy and food costs! Lowering the excessively and unjustifiably high interest rates would put three figure sums back into the pockets of tens of millions of home owners and tenants every single month(!!!), massively increasing their spending power and, therefore, increasing economic growth!!
I am not an economist so this maybe a bit simplistic. TheNHS is one of the largest employers in the country. How much of their new revenue will be needed to fund increase in National Insurance and minimum wage???
It apear's to me that when the government is talking about growth, they are talking about the growth of the public sector. The private sector does not count. Secondly, the threashold for paying tax remains the same (i.e. £12700). Therefore, with the raise in minimum wages, it appear's again to me that even people on the minimum wage shall be paying income tax. (If they start working over time, these people will simply give portion of their money earned to the tax man. In this respect it shall be a waste of time). This is a ply by the government to get more revenue from the private sector by taxing people on the minimum wage.
Grow the public sector, smash the private sector! Mindless and doomed for failure! High taxes, big government! Never works! Last lot were rubbish but we’ve got something worse now.
