Hey grammar hero I recently passed my ASVAB last Thursday and scored an 85 on my AFQT I’ve been watching ur videos and taking ur practice test, for anyone who wants to pass the exam with a good score I recommend watching all his videos I remember the first time I found his channel I watched the 15 hour one, the videos really and if you put time into studying you will see the results on the day of the quiz trust the process

Hello @@marborybarrientos8529 don't know what you mean by confirmation test, l did not take the PiCAT, if that is what you mean because PiCAT requires confirmation to prove that you actually passed. My recruiter took me to MEPS where l took the CAT ASVAB test which l know does not require a confirmation test because l completed everything there now am just waiting for my shipping date in October to come so l ship for basic training. Hope l answered you question.
@@Jonarroyo_ No specific order, but l just followed what he said. Pause and solve then see if l get it right after playing. I think the more you practice the more familiar these calculations become. This is like solving asvab b4 asvab.

Your Videos helped me a lot, Thanks My Hero I took the Asvab today with my recruiter and had 56, went to MEPS for verification, BOOM missed 2 questions and the Test itself routed me back to a full ASVAB, luckily i still passed with 49. It was mentally challenging to test for like 8+ hrs straight but definitely worth it. If you are gonna take the test, my best advice is. Study + Prepare = Grammar HeroX² Solve for X

Needed a 50 or above score to get approved for a waiver. Took my asvab again and got a 66 which needed another full length confirmation test which I got a 68 on giving me and average asvab score of 67. My full-length practice tests give you an estimate of your AFQT score, so you'll know when you're ready to retake the test. Hey Grammar Hero, on question 6, i for just take how many students make an A then a B and add those together. The subtract that total amount from 60. Can that way always work or should i start doing the problem like you did?
Your method works. For these videos, I have to show people all of the steps, but if you really think about, you can solve this problem without having to work anything out at all. 60 - 20 - 30 = 10.

Let's say I had $10. I then gave $3 to Jimmy, and $2 to Sandy. How would you figure out how many dollars I had left? $10 - $3 - $2 = $5. The problem uses the same logic, albeit with fractions.
@Grmmar hero I had a question about number 16 I seen what you did with the conversion but I’m still confused on how you got .5 what I thought of was half of 6 which was three but that wouldn’t have made sense if they already did half of twelve so can you explain how you got .5 please
Honestly, this channel is really just for ASVAB test prep. In order to really prepare you for the HiSET, I would have to make tens of videos. Unfortunately, I have no intention to do that at this point.

Is it good if I’m watching all your math videos and everything from the very beginning like fractions, decimals, improper m, mixed numbers or is it good that I’m going over all that ?
If you listen closely to my videos, you'll notice that I say "more often than not, you have to convert percentages to decimals." Finding a missing value in an average is one of those cases in which you don't have to convert a percentage to a decimal.

And I understood but not quite enough so i saw how you put links on how to solve each question and im going through each topic and taking notes on all your videos . And my plan is to go on the next math knowledge practice test you have and do it on my own since I’ve been taking notes on basically all the math knowledge stuff and next Im doing arithmetic reasoning the same way . Is that a good plan ?

@@Jonarroyo_ I try to include in my videos as many topics from that checklist as I can, but there are some topics that just don't make it into the videos.
In high school, I had teachers read the newspaper all day rather than teach. Unfairness aside, you still have the ability to teach yourself this stuff, since it is all very basic and quick and easy to learn.
