The volume of this video gave me more tinnitus than any gun range ever has 😆

Do you have a volume control on your video playback device?

Thanks for the video, it saved me some time to figure out how to put these on. Definitely needed, this gun is painful with stock grips and 357 rounds. Now with the Hogues it's perfect

I purchased this grip for my K6s DASA. I agree that the factory grips are pretty, but pretty doesn't count when you're defending yourself or your family. ONE, and for me the most significant, weakness of the factory grip is the exposed backstrap. The firearm is chambered in 357 Magnum, a pretty powerful round, with what can be serious recoil. The steel backstrap, as I see it, transfers the energy of that recoil directly to your hands. In my humble opinion it made sense to cover that steel backstrap with a rubber cushion. I first tried a set of grips from Lok. They fit my hand perfectly. But, they were so large that they were difficult to conceal. So, I purchased these. Hogue is a reputable manufacturer. I have a set of their grips on my SP101 and they're excellent! But on this revolver, this grip is simply too small for my hand. I could not get a grip that allowed me to control the power advantageously. I wish Hogue had seen fit to extend the grip another half inch, and add purchase for the little finger. The real kicker was removing this grip....DIFFICULT!!! and I mean REALLY FRIKKIN' DIFFICULT! I've gone back to the Lok. Guess I'll just hafta hide my amazing physique with a baggy shirt. Oh Well...

I got a email from lok in the last month or so about the grips for the dasa. If memory serves I think they were $85 per pair. The down fall was the limited selection in color. The only color that appealed was the black and blue. Would like to see some more colors before I buy.

@@whooper3336 as it happens I went with the black and blue color choice...but they got me for significantly more than $85 bucks. They fit real nice though and they look darn good.

Is your topic about changing grip or cleaning a gun ?

The original grips look good but the hogue grip makes it so you can shoot a box or 2 at the range and enjoy yourself

Use breakfree or a similar product. Using alcohol will promote rust. Nothing is "stainless":)

I would love to keep the stock grips on, but because its so painful to shoot - I can't practice. I redeveloped a flinch🤭

The change is triggered pull is very likely due to the fact that the steel in the original grip generates 'stiffer' resistance. The softer rubber 'yields' a bit as pressure is applied. I plan to get a Kimber K6 DASA for myself, but had made the observation that the steel backstrap would likely make recoil a bit harsh. Hogue rubber would be my first choice as I use them on my SP-101. Nice Video!

Is the rubber texture of the Hogue grips clothing "grabby" for concealed carry? I liked the honeycomb Control Core grips Crimson Trace made for Kimber, but apparently they're discontinued. I agree about the exposed backstrap, inexplicable they'd offer a 357 magnum that way, yet almost every revolver comes that way. Nice to look at, horrible to shoot.

I would call the hogue grip a softer more grabby type rubber that is comfortable to shoot. If using for ccw two or more layers of clothing would work.

Those Hogue grips look just bad ass on that Kimber! I mean those are beautiful. I have Hogues on my SW 642 and Ruger SP101 and they have made both guns better to shoot.

Its disappointing to see the butt of the grip to be open like that. Granted you're getting extra real estate for the pinky, but you'd think Hogue would at least cover it up.
