Here's my thought on Ather 450x Ather energy did a really good job in terms of quality control and engineering, it has good handling in the city and stability in highways. 450x gives me their claimed mileage of 105 in any mode at a speed of 50 km/hr (31kw/hr) . if we rip it, then battery drains like anything. Speed is limited upto 90 km/hr (warp mode)and the bybre brakes are really good to make it zero Sometime feels rear brakes gets lock and misses out Abs. There is no learning curve for ather unlike other electric ⚡️scooters, same old school trunk opening still feels good, no postion changes for horn, indicators and dim and bright switches Display bightness is good and visble at sun, UI is impressive and easy to toggle, only minimal things are shown on screen, google maps which is preinstalled need to be more optimised it has glitches. New seats are good both pillion and rider are comfortable There is no usb ports for charging your phone As petrol scooters can give usb ports why ather cant . Ather scooters are connected with ather app which we can easily monitor our ussage, balance battery percentage, to track 450x but it misses out a "shut down" feature, if i park scooter overnights around 4-5 % of battery will drain, by shuting down i can save that but these feature is only available in scooter settings so if iam not there it is not possible I usually prefer over night charging by portable charger it takes around 5 or 6 hr to full charge 0-80 %around 3hrs and rest in 2 hrs or above When it gets 100% battery then it automatically cut off, but the problem is whenever it come down to 99 percentage ather again go for charging. And if i switch off supply and not removing the adapter from ather the motor behind the screen is working (not sure but one of the motor is working ) Ather really need to work on side stand it is too bend towards left, to park this we need more space than a normal scooter. Any things which we kept on the footboard will fall down easily, please update it and compactable for old gen too One more thing is with headlight , visibility is not upto and can include a pass switch or intergreted in the same dim and bright switch (like jupiter ) Hope ather launch new promising models like 450x, with higher battery capacity and lower prices so peoples can opt right

I have been riding Ather for past 2 years. Pros: excellent rideability, super comfort, no vibration, service only needed after 5000 km. No need for petrol or oil change, useful features Cons: maps started failing after a year. No resolution from the company even after 30 emails (over 6 months) and phone calls apart from that. I gave up on that finally. That was my most required feature. Once sales is over, they treat you like trash. Service isn't costly, but towards 2nd service, there was a squeaking sound and they asked to change bearing which apparently costed around 4000😢 So we have no clue as to the cost of spare parts. As long as the vehicle runs smoothly, no need to worry. But when when a problem comes, either there is no support, or the spare parts are beyond our limits. The 3rd gen is overpriced. I had purchased the full option vehicle for 1.48, the same price is there for the base version without all the useful features.

First the customer need to evaluate his requirements and priority first, then filter out one by one.
That's what I did. I was a fan of ather and took test ride atleast 4 times. but when I filtered one by one Ola was the one chosen.
If Daily rides have steep hill, I mean very steep, ola may be filtered out,
You make sense. I have Ather for 2 years and Ola for 1 year. I never had any issue with any steep slope so far. I'm fact, they are better than any petrol scooters.

Here's my thought on Ather 450x
Ather energy did a really good job in terms of quality control and engineering, it has good handling in the city and stability in highways.
450x gives me their claimed mileage of 105 in any mode at a speed of 50 km/hr (31kw/hr) . if we rip it, then battery drains like anything. Speed is limited upto 90 km/hr (warp mode)and the bybre brakes are really good to make it zero
Sometime feels rear brakes gets lock and misses out Abs.
There is no learning curve for ather unlike other electric ⚡️scooters, same old school trunk opening still feels good, no postion changes for horn, indicators and dim and bright switches
Display bightness is good and visble at sun, UI is impressive and easy to toggle, only minimal things are shown on screen, google maps which is preinstalled need to be more optimised it has glitches. New seats are good both pillion and rider are comfortable
There is no usb ports for charging your phone
As petrol scooters can give usb ports why ather cant
. Ather scooters are connected with ather app which we can easily monitor our ussage, balance battery percentage, to track 450x but it misses out a "shut down" feature, if i park scooter overnights around 4-5 % of battery will drain, by shuting down i can save that but these feature is only available in scooter settings so if iam not there it is not possible
I usually prefer over night charging by portable charger it takes around 5 or 6 hr to full charge 0-80 %around 3hrs and rest in 2 hrs or above
When it gets 100% battery then it automatically cut off, but the problem is whenever it come down to 99 percentage ather again go for charging. And if i switch off supply and not removing the adapter from ather the motor behind the screen is working (not sure but one of the motor is working )
Ather really need to work on side stand it is too bend towards left, to park this we need more space than a normal scooter. Any things which we kept on the footboard will fall down easily, please update it and compactable for old gen too
One more thing is with headlight , visibility is not upto and can include a pass switch or intergreted in the same dim and bright switch (like jupiter )
Hope ather launch new promising models like 450x, with higher battery capacity and lower prices so peoples can opt right

I have been riding Ather for past 2 years.
Pros: excellent rideability, super comfort, no vibration, service only needed after 5000 km. No need for petrol or oil change, useful features
Cons: maps started failing after a year. No resolution from the company even after 30 emails (over 6 months) and phone calls apart from that. I gave up on that finally. That was my most required feature. Once sales is over, they treat you like trash. Service isn't costly, but towards 2nd service, there was a squeaking sound and they asked to change bearing which apparently costed around 4000😢
So we have no clue as to the cost of spare parts. As long as the vehicle runs smoothly, no need to worry. But when when a problem comes, either there is no support, or the spare parts are beyond our limits.
The 3rd gen is overpriced. I had purchased the full option vehicle for 1.48, the same price is there for the base version without all the useful features.
