So I'd never heard Sonic Youth before until my friend and I were driving cross country thru Texas. We has been listening to some Hunter Thompson and getting really ripped on weed and ephedrine, cause back in the day you could just get handfuls at the register at any truck stop. He puts this album on. It's like the best thing I've ever heard in my life. This song comes and I notice a smoke on the horizon and as we start getting closer I notice a big motor home is smoking on the side of the road. And I swear to god just as this song hits the crescendo the fucking motor home explodes right in front of us. All we could do was drive thru it like some sort of WWII fighter pilot. Sonic Youth fan ever since.
