Thank you, Neil. I plan to do a companion to this video. Adding textures is simple, so I want to ensure I add to this so everybody gets it. It is always a battle between details and video length.
Again, thanks for the great tutorial! I believe I used this video as my guide a while back for another hospital with a ground pad. Thank you for looking out for us rotor heads!
Thanks. Polygons are probably the most important tool in scenery work. Here is a more extensive polygon tutorial if you haven't found it yet. ua-cam.com/video/EKZu1Nivuec/v-deo.html
Hi Steven, Did you intend this youtube video to appear just in 360 resolution? (maybe because of it's length?). I ask this, as in your previous videos they have been available in much higher resolution, which is awesome!. :) Sadly I cannot read the text in the various developer windows due to this lower resolution, but your excellent presentation gets me around 'most bends in the road" !
The upload is in 4K. I checked, and it is still processing. Wow! I uploaded this over 24 hours ago. Sometimes it takes a bit, but this is the longest I have seen. Give it time. It will eventually complete processing, and higher resolutions will be available.
Hello, I didnt see all of the video, but I'm looking for a way to start the helicopters in cold and dark state from the asobo helipads. By default they always start with engines on. Any ideas? Thanx alot😊
Hello Martin. Thanks for watching and finding me. I have noticed the same phenomenon. I do not fly helicopters and only use a rotorcraft for tutorials. So, I know little about the machines. I typically fly the PMDG 737 series, and PMDG has built provisions in the aircraft where you can save personal startup configurations. So, I Need to educate myself on how rotorcraft work. I will see what I can find and report back. I'll be sure to let you know if I find something helpful.
Hello again, Martin. I went down the rabbit hole looking for this issue. There is a lot of chatter and confusion. A thought is floating around that the copter is ruining because the helipad is technically a starting point. Even in fixed-wing aircraft, the plane will be active if you choose a starting point. So changing from start to a GA parking spot might work. I will let you know if I can do this. I should be able to try this weekend at some point and let you know what I find.
Thanks!
Wow! Nobody has ever done that for me before. I don't know what to do next. Thank you, Hector.
Good instructions. Every time I watch one of your videos it opens up soo much more possibilities for adding new scenery. Thanks.....Neil

@@patriotsix5880 I built an airport with just one transparent runway and a parking spot right where the heliport is located. That seems to work.
